Espresso Bay

Nice coffee place in the heart of traverse city. The location is good. I like the ambience. They’ve made it local. Interesting collection of coffees. You can grab a cup of coffee and sit across the street on the lake front enjoying the amazing view.

A suggestion to the owner- please add dark chocolate mocha to your menu. I’m a big fan.

Just tried to get a coffee an hour before close, 4:45PM on a Tuesday. Couldn’t get in the door initially because it was blocked by a trash can. One customer drinking and working quietly in the back.

The staff member behind the counter seemed busy so myself, my friend and her 16 month old waited patiently as she finished changing out trash bags and then disappeared for a few minutes.

After another 7-8 minutes we were not acknowledged or served (I was hoping to buy some beans as a gift for another friend as well). The staff member did eventually reappear but still did not acknowledge us at the counter- we even heard her mumbling about us moving the trash can under her breath.

I’ve never known Espresso Bay to have a good reputation in regards to their product or their service, being blatantly ignored seems true to form. I will be sure to spread the word.

Wife loved it so much she had it twice! 🤣 the staff was young and super friendly. My black coffee was good! Wife love her (whatever she put in her coffee) thank you for the pleasant experience!

I wish I had found these guys a lot sooner. I've been faithfully ordering my coffee online for about a year now and don't regret making the switch. Maxwell House was my go to until I stumbled upon Table 12 on Garfield and found espresso bays whole bean coffee. Since then I've been to EB on front st ounce but I'll be stopping by when I'm in town for now on.

You either get pure watery drinks or thick. No in between. Place would be great if they could be consistent with their recipes. Not to mention if you don’t tip you always get poor service.

Seriously one of the best coffee shops I have been to! I love the environment and the workers are super friendly. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!

BEST LATTE EVER.
I'd consider myself a latte connoisseur, and this place was amazing! Saw their sign said "CBD AVAILABLE," and I thought "no way are they serving CBD LATTES???!!!"
Sure enough they do!!!!! I got the cherry blossom latte with 5mg of CBD, and it's the best latte I've ever had. I wish this place was local!
You can of course get any drink without CBD!

We stopped in to look at bulk ordering coffee beans for wedding favors and the staff was so kind! We had an impromptu tasting of pour over flavors and plan on ordering two big bags of beans for our wedding. Thanks guys!!

Definitely worth a stop on your trip through Traverse City.

The coffee shop is located on a corner that is easy to walk to, and is right in the middle of eclectic shops and art galleries and boutiques.

the shop is modern with many spaces comfortable for sitting and having conversation. They sell desserts and pastries, as well as fresh roasted coffee.

Blueberry scone freshly baked and lots of blueberries! What a delight.
This is what a coffee shop should be, a variety of seating that invited conversation and plenty of outlets to charge needful devices.
A menu that does not over extend itself but keeps in mind it's customer base, artisan coffee, baked goods, smoothies.
A great selection of freshly roasted coffee products to take home and enjoy daily.
Ps outlets to charge devices....big plus for me
