You know how Goldilocks found the just right bed? That's how it felt to taste the Mocha from Cuppa Joe. It wasn't too chocolatey, but you could definitely taste the delicious chocolate blended perfectly with the coffee. Absolutely lovely.

Breakfast food is pre-made then heated up. Coffee was bland and not very hot. Nice people. Perhaps they will improve once business picks up again and you can sit down inside their space.

Great coffee! Best in the area. Nice prices and the workers are fun and nice.

It's easy to write a glaring review about coffee from a coffee shop. Make no mistake, my mocha was most enjoyable. What inspired me to divulge my experience, however, was the unanticipated breakfast burrito.

I wasn't necessarily in search of sustenance. I quickly glanced at their noon menu and decided I could use a breakfast snack. I hadn't eaten since the evening before and intermittent fasting was testing my resolve. I'm not normally a fan of burritos, but the ingredients were enticing and I was happy to see that I wouldn't have to manually remove any unwanted additions.

Having fed the kids and finished half the mocha, I decided it was about time to satiate my own carnal desires. As enthusiastic as a toddler told to brush his teeth, I unwrapped the piping hot burrito and dove in...

Oh my heavens to Betsy. Thick gooey cheese, fluffy scrambled eggs, juicy meat and hearty potatoes. This meal was patiently handcrafted with more love and tenderness than I have felt in years (sorry kids). And the side of salsa was simply the icing on the cake, if the cake was a burrito and the icing was salsa.

To say this was filling would also be an understatement. I came for a snack and left with an Italian wedding sized portion. It was comparable to a rolled up medium sized pizza intended for two hungry collegiate wrestlers. As I write this review I am waddling back to the car like a full term mother bearing twins.

All in all, this cafe burrito has been the highlight of my memorial day weekend. With a vacation filled with tours, wineries, shopping and museums, any sane person would think this statement absurd and overflowing with hyperbole...

My stomach, and my heart, say otherwise.

Cup of Joe has excellent food and some of the best coffee in Traverse City. Their mochas are the best I've had anywhere! They are only offering take out right now because of the pandemic, but when they are able to offer dining in, they have a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your food and drinks.

Really good food! Got the chai, a huge cookie, a bowl and burrito.

So happy to have Cuppa Joe in the building that I work in! They have amazing coffee, breakfast, and lunch.

My usual is a Dirty Chai - their homemade Chai paired with a couple espresso shots is the perfect afternoon pick me up. My favorite lunch is the Greek Salad with chicken. High quality ingredients and the portion is enough for 2 people or to save half for later. Great value for the price.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Love the comfortable vintage vibe of the place. Highly recommend.

One of the worst experiences for getting a quick cup of coffee. I wanted a pumpkin spice latte, the guy working seemed like he would rather be anywhere else than there, breathed a huge sigh when he took my order, and I was given a cup of burnt espresso. No pumpkin syrup, spice, flavoring, any of it. For $4.24. The place also looked really messy behind the counter. I have been to the other location (drive-thru) before and was given great service. This was so bad I couldn't stop myself from writing this review; extremely disappointing, won't ever go back there and will tell everyone.

We were looking for a quick brunch for our last day in town. With our first choice bogged down with a long wait, we stumbled into this quaint and unassuming coffee shop. This was a great place for breakfast that surprisingly wasn’t overwhelmed with people even with the quality offerings. Fantastic food that had us contemplating a second course.

Love this place! I bring my own mug so they don't waste a paper cup, and it's so much fun to grab a made-to-order, DELICIOUS sandwich! They are environmentally conscious and super nice ! Great service! ♥️
