I adore this tea shop. It's moderately inexpensive with comfy seating and cozy atmosphere. The outside patio seating has a great view of the park across the street and the chocolates are divine. If you need space to sit for a while and write or work, then this is perfect for that too.

Nice assortment of specialty made chocolates, cakes and pies. Wonderful selection of bulk and packaged teas.
You can order barritsa styled coffee and tea.

Chocolatea is a great little shop tucked into a plaza. When you walk in you'll find the staff pleasant and willing to help. Every inch of the interior is covered with a variety of packaged candies. They also make and bake their own confections. They are all delicious.
You can see and feel the care that goes into every inch of the store. I have been there for a birthday, afternoon conversations, and several times to get a candy gifts. Every time has been consistently a positive and pleasant experience.

Huge selection of loose tea to have them brew you a cup or buy by the ounce. Great desserts and beautiful chocolates, all kinds of gifts for the tea lover.

I've been coming here for years and ALWAYS have an amazing experience. Today I needed to buy some chocolates for teachers. Not only did she box them up, but she put bows on them too. The tea is amazing, the chocolates are amazing, but the people are what make Chocolatea extra special.

Love this place. It is small but serves delicious desserts and tea. They have limited menu items. Depending on the time and the day, the staff can be helpful. I've been there multiple times because they offer lots of different types of tea.
Sometimes my visit is awesome but when the boss isn't there the staff can get quite cranky and not helpful.

Chocolatea is a tiny little shop with all things tea and chocolate related! There are tea pots, tea cups, loose tea, tea bags, chocolate, etc as soon as you walk in. At the counter, there is this beautiful case of handmade chocolate treats! They serve bubble tea if you’re into that.
I ordered a mocha and when I asked if it was vegan the staff were very helpful in determining their normal chocolate they add is not vegan, but they have a different chocolate syrup they could try for me. So we did that and the mocha turned out pretty well. It was mostly sugar tasting and not so much chocolate, but I appreciate how honest and thorough the staff was to help me get a mocha.
They have limited indoor seating because their store portion takes up most of the inside, but they have a good sized patio outside.
I would definitely recommend checking them out! It’s a little pricey, but for it to be a small independent shop, with handmade goodies and a specialty interest, it’s about the price I would expect.

A cute little cafe with fun items, candy, and delicious desserts for purchase. The tea selection is amazing and the drinks they make are delicious. The lunch menu looks fabulous as well!

Wide variety of teas, not only that they serve, but they have a surprising amount of teas and tea sets you can purchase. Also have coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies and italian sodas. In addition, they have many, many dessert options including fine chocolates, candies, cakes, pies and cookies. Staff were very friendly, prices were fair, and the quality of everything consumed was marvelous!

Piña colada with tapioca pearl is the best combination. It might not be the best bubble tea store, but it could be one of the best in Kalamazoo area. I love their drinks, especially the vibe! All the staffs were friendly and nice. The decoration of the store was really comfy!
I had so many wonderful memories there. I can’t wait to go again one day.
The only thing is that it is a little pricy compare to the regular bubble tea store. But I’m still willing to pay for their great drinks and vibe.
