What a great little place. The staff was very helpful, informative and patient, since this was our first time there. Food was really good and they gave us a donut sample, so that was a bonus LOL.
We’ll definitely be back.

Sandwiches were enjoyed by all of us. Small place, but very welcoming and friendly

This is the best little cafe I’ve been to! If you haven’t been then I recommend going here! The workers are the sweetest and most caring! Shoutout to lizzy! My favorite barista and she is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Mark and Pam, the owners, are so sweet and sincere.

It started out wonderful as a person that is unable to eat gluten, I felt so happy stumbling upon this all gluten-free spot. The workers seemed lovely and wonderful as well.

We ordered our food when to our surprise, we received the hash browns with meat in them after making it clear(3x), we only wanted onions, cheese, and green chili queso. After receiving the hash browns with meat, they took them back and were apologetic. All seemed well and they were doing their best to make it right.

It wasn’t until I had finished half of my breakfast burrito, that I was splitting with my partner, that she noticed there was meat in there as well. We brought this to the attention of one of the staff and once we did she immediately began to invalidate my experience. She placed her hand on mine and began to say, “are you sure it’s not from the hash browns?” Then proceeded to say, “even if it was in the burrito it was only a little bit.” Not eating meat is a very important part of my ethical and spiritual well-being. We asked the staff member to give us a moment while we took some time to think through what we wanted to do.

I felt violated by the fact that I was served meat and had eaten it without my knowledge. Having the feeling of being violated come to the surface, as well as the staff member invalidating my experience, made me feel very sad. This mixture of emotions caused me to start crying in the restaurant. I soon began to feel sick to my stomach, when I made my way to the restroom where I threw up what I had eaten.

In the time I was throwing up, my partner was speaking with the owner of the restaurant.

From her: The restaurant owner, Mark, was already defensive and on edge before she said a word about the situation. She explained the experience to him and he then began to inspect the pieces of meat she pulled from the burrito. First he tried saying it wasn’t meat. He then curtly asked, “I understand you don’t like meat, but what would you like me to do about it?” She then asked for her money back and he made his way towards the back of the counter to the cash register. On his way back he turned around and said, “I’m not buying it by the way.” She then made her way up to the front counter.

At this moment I was making my way down the hall from the bathroom. I heard him saying, “I’m not buying it by the way.” I made my way to the front of the counter where my partner was.

I quickly realized what was going on and that he was accusing us of lying. We had an exchange of words and neither party left feeling validated in their experience. He said we were lying and that “no one would put meat in our(your) food deliberately.” I then said, “no one is saying you did it on purpose. I believe it was fully an accident.” To which he wouldn’t even entertain that idea. It ended with him yelling, as we were already walking towards the exit, “get out of my restaurant!”

Being the customer of this establishment, a server, and manager in the food and service industry for nearly a decade, I am well aware of the expectations and courtesy my partner and I should have been treated with. In any case & restaurant, if something happens where the customer is not pleased, has been served bad food, treated unkindly, or has an emergency, you (the establishment) does what is in their power to accommodate the customer. This is how a good business builds loyalty, customer satisfaction, trust, and faith in the relationship between customer and business. My partner and I felt, in no way shape or form, that we were taken into consideration. We were invalidated, called liars, treated very unkindly (while experiencing the very difficult reality that I had eaten meat), and violated (my ethical and moral line had been crossed by being served meat).

This experience has shown that this establishment will not meet their customer with compassion or empathy if and when something has mistakenly gone wrong here. Instead, you’ll be ridiculed and made to feel like you have done wrong by them.

The ladies were really nice, I did however waited 30-40 minutes for my food, I do understand the times were in right now, it looked like there were only two girls there so it's understandable. Food was mediocre, their drinks are where it's at though, delicious. Did like the old building, the atmosphere, I'm willing to give it another shot. Tasty sweets as well.

I would give this restaurant 6 stars but only 5 are listed. I went there for the first time with 4 other friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment. The owner Cathy is so personable and Megan is such a little sweetie. They made our visit exceptional.

The food was unbelievable. Everything is organic, gluten free and delicious... I had a cup of red pepper and potato soup, cold quinoa black been salad with avocado, and a wonderful sandwich with homemade bread. I cannot wait to go back. I am so glad I don't live too close because I would be living there.

This restaurant is success.... Bravo to you..... Please come and visit you will be amazed. God Bless

It is so wonderful to have healthy options so close to home! The sandwich I usually get is gluten free and low calorie. It tastes delicious which can be hard to do when choosing to eat healthy. The style of the restaurant is very cool. It is small and meant to predominantly provide a casual or take out experience, but I like that they have some dining inside.
I do wish they were open a bit later but I understand why she closes the restaurant when she does.

Service with a smile. Good food with quality ingredients. Looking for that vegan pizza or nutritious smoothie in a cozy spot? Look no further! Great location amid other small shops and very close to the water in Downtown New Baltimore.

My daughter and I love this place! Whenever my mom comes in to town from Colorado we bring her here too, she loves it! I have tried many things on their menu, and everything is great. My daughter loves the pizza and coconut milk shakes. Their vegan cinnamon rolls are amazing! My experience here as always been amazing, and the girls are super friendly.
