Once you go in, you'll be hooked. Small, homey atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Cute little candles/candies/biscotti for extras. Super easy parking. The beans are roasted and so incredibly fresh! You can special request coffee from all over the world (roasted to your liking) and honestly can't beat the price. Half the price of Starbucks and 10x the quality!! Plus you're supporting an awesome community oriented small business. Plus there are a couple cute boutiques in the same plaza I like to check out after getting a latte. 🥰
Che Cosa has a great selection of coffee that the owner roasts in house. The drink menu is fairly standard, but they often have donuts, chocolate, and caramel treats. Definitely come here to spoil yourself on the good coffee.
Excellent experience. Customer service and product selection are stellar. The store is small and clean, with a variety of coffee flavors. I purchased 3 different coffee flavors, all of which come in bean or ground (they will grind it for you at checkout); when I made a pot at home with the Pumpkin Pie flavor it was delicious. I will continue to support this local business. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Times change, and smart business adapt to them to survive -Che Cosa certainly being one of them. Those of us who were in our teens-30s back in the 2000s are less-inclined to be hanging out at a coffee house in Mount Clemens listening to open mic poetry nowadays and are instead brewing coffee at home to enjoy either in a French press, espresso maker, or even just a regular old coffee machine. Che Cosa adapted to this and transitioned from being a coffee house to being an artesian coffee roaster (where they make various roasts that are available either in person or on their website - The roasts are whole bean so bring your own grinder.) That said, they still have the artifacts from their coffeehouse days, so you can still order a drink in person whenever the store is open. It would be nice if the hours were a bit more regular, but I understand that online commerce is the new thing nowadays so I could only hope they’d get popular enough to sustain regular hours. That said, if you want to support local and get small-batch coffee that you can’t get anywhere else, you should put Che Cosa at the top of your list.
Coffee is great, but ordering and customer service are not. I ordered 3 bags of coffee online. Waited over a month to receive them, with my order being incomplete and missing a bag. 3 phone calls and 2 emails to the company, none of which were returned, resulted in filing a dispute for the amount with my credit card company, which I left a message stating I was going to do unless we could settle the order. Owner never responded, but immediately disputed the merchant refund, billing me in full again, for a complete order I did not receive. I am frustrated because I enjoy supporting small business, but never again will I give them my business after they chose to ignore my requests for a refund or sending me the correct item. Beware that orders take an exceptionally long time to arrive and getting in contact with someone is impossible.
I would give it 10 Stars if their hours were not so funky. Wed-Sat 9-3.🤷 I've been really trying to buy locally lately and I was really excited about finding this coffee shop right around the corner from my house just to be disappointed by the fact that they don't even open until I'm already at work for an hour. My daughter discovered it the other day driving around and said they had amazing coffee, so I met her there this morning just to discover that they're not even open until 9:00 🤦 I just don't understand is why they would possibly open so late and then close so early. Very disappointing I was really excited about taking my daughter here for her first day of school and realized that they don't even open till 9:00 everybody's at works by then so literally the only day that anybody could even go there would be on a Saturday because they're only open 3 days a week from 9:00 to 3:00 and people usually work from like 9:00 to 5:00. Reallying wish they would change their hours because their coffee is amazing... Super bummed out this morning and disappointed.😟
Couldn't choose, so why not try Southern Pecan Pie & Vanilla Butter Cream with a couple bags of Chocolate Covered Beans & Malt Balls too!! ☕💗☕😋☕

It is a small hard to find place, drove past a couple times, finally found, and they had a sign that they closed early.
