I didn't go there today I was at a another place.

My coworker took me and it wasnt bad. Atmosphere was good (music was relaxing, not old timey either) food was decent. Though he had talked it up, if he hadn't it would have gotten a 5th star. Good place to try though. Def recommend if in the area.

We had the salmon bacon and tomato on ciabatta .. soooooo yummy. Moist filet of salmon with a BLT twist. This was our first time there .. will definitely be going back.

Max and Emily's was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in Mount Pleasant. They have delicious, unique, well thought out sandwiches which always satisfy, and a friendly, patient staff who is more than willing to recommend their favorite sandwich to you.
A lot of people feel their prices are too steep, but honestly, you get exactly what you pay for: A flavorful, fresh, extraordinary sandwich that can really only be described with one word: "Mmmm".

If you can't decide, get the special! It's a good value and always tastes good no matter what it is. I have never had a bad soup or sandwich here and the menu has enough combinations to keep everyone happy.

Exceptional sandwiches (they do have more!) with great flavor profiles. One of the true local gems for lunch!

Try #61 - the Inferno. Quite a few of my friends love the chicken and dumpling soup.

Coffee was delicious the salted carmel is made from scratch was delicious but needed a little more salt chocolate sauce has alot of flavor friendly staff clean environment

My son (who is gluten free) said it was the best sandwich he has ever had. The rest of us had very good sandwiches as well. We will definitely be back.

Just WOW! The quaint atmosphere is outshined by the delicious food. The friendly staff was inviting and the owner was very personal. I recommend this place not only for the great food, excellent staff and cleanliness but also for the direct connection this restaurant has with the community.
You will not regret a visit to this establishment.

Great sandwiches made to order with fresh ingredients. Soups that are too good to come from a can. Friendly staff and homey / collegiate atmosphere. What's not to love!
