Spent the day here studying and trying different items on the menu. Everything was great, and so was the service! The staff surprise engineered new unique coffee drinks for us, and they were surprisingly yummy. It’s was a cozy and comfortable place to relax, work, and eat good food. The best part was the desert, by far! Just such great baked goods. The cheesecake was my favorite. My only constructive note is that the gyro sauce could use more flavor/spice as it was a bit bland. Otherwise, one of my new favorite places in the UP to eat.

Our team chose the Serving Spoon for breakfast this morning and they didn’t disappoint! Of course it’s not busy in the off season but the breakfast is still spot on. Service was great and parking close. It’s worth a drive out of the way to have their breakfast. I had the veggie omelette while my coworkers chose Hash and the other had basic bacon and eggs. We all enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!

The staff was on point 👍. They were friendly, even with my 100 questions 😂! The breakfast was amazing and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend

Specialty coffee is great. A place that serves real potatoes deserves 5 stars, hands down. So sick of lazy restaurants and their frozen potatoes. I'd cook a bag of frozen potatoes at home if that's what I'm going to get served. Cant speak for their hashbrows though, never had em. The corned beef hash is my favorite and the best in the area.. Far from the canned dog food that most places have. Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. Definitely one of the best places in the M&M area.

This is one of the best places in the area to get breakfast and a delicious cup of coffee. The eggs Benedict and the corned beef hash were perfectly cooked, and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time. I also bought a bag of coffee beans for home because the coffee was so good. Great service and cozy atmosphere.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The service was fantastic, the food was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced. The bacon was top notch. The view overlooking the bay was beautiful early in the morning and I would highly recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

This place was a tasty spot to grab lunch before viewing the great lake coastline. Husband got the reuben and loved it, as well as the flavored coffee of the day (rumchata but without alcohol). I got the pimento cheese sandwich and a cup of tomato soup and was pleasantly surprised!! I'd been debating between a regular grilled cheese with bacon and tomato or the pimento sandwich which also came with tomato and bacon. It was delicious!! The pimento cheese had a slight kick to it and was a nice consistency, though I wish there'd been a bit more of it to counteract the bacon, which had a lovely quantity! I also got the iced Chai latte which was very tasty. I highly recommend stopping in!! The decor was super cute and the waitstaff was good, if not a bit slow to check in, etc (it was busy and we were in the back room so it was fine with us!!). They were very nice!!!

This was my first time at the Serving Spoon, but will definitely be back whenever I'm making the run across the UP to my parent's house.

Great ambiance, runs out of an remodeled craftsman style house overlooking the lake.

The food is great, especially if you're looking for gluten free options. Everything is fresh, and well seasoned, with reasonable portion sizes, and a good value. My 8 year old demolished his gyro, and decided it's his new favorite lunch. We also got a chai (super delicious, with just enough honey) and homemade lemonade.

Most importantly, make sure you have room for dessert. It's worth it.

Erin, our server, was super friendly and helpful.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

My wife and I have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for nearly 30 years now and have always enjoyed it! The Serving Spoon has always been a highlight of our trips to the Upper Peninsula. The quaint atmosphere and fabulous food and plentiful coffee is something we do not have to enjoy where we live, so this is an experience each and every time.
From the homemade scones to the delicious farmers omelet and our guests' croissant sandwich, we have had memorable times that always leave us feeling prepared for the start of the days agenda.
Thank You - Serving Spoon, you are such a great asset to Marinette/ Menomonie area!

A perfect breakfast experience. The mushroom omelette, with some sausage added as an extra was excellent, and the sourdough bread was thick and flavorful. My wife's corned beef hash is, I am told, the best she's ever had before.
