Serving Spoon

Great people.... great food.... great atmosphere.... great views! Very relaxing!

Food was quite good....but the service was ridiculous. Our waitress obviously had plans after work and rushed us through our meal....even asking us to bring our dirty dishes inside when we got finished ( we were dining outside) because her shift was up. She practically yanked my salad dish out from under me. She forgot our silverware...our salads....never asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Her terrible customer service was so obvious. She gave us the bill almost before we got our food and asked if we could pay right away because the other worker wanted to close out the till. I realize we came in the middle of the afternoon, but the "open" sign was still on and if they didn't want to serve food anymore she could have just told us they were done serving. The atmosphere and food were good - but they need better servers.

If the kitchen is running slow let your customers know. Waiting a 1/2 hour after ordering to be told then that it will be a few more minutes is unacceptable. If the menu says the eggs are poached they shouldn't come soft boiled. Water with lemon means all glasses. Shouldn't have to ask for more water then ask and wait for more lemon. Had looked forward for weeks to eating at the serving spoon then was disappointed.

A very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, being able to eat inside or out comfortably. Decent prices. Can take a nice relaxing walk after you eat not having to drive anywhere

An absolutely wonderful spot for coffee, breakfast, and lunch! Really good coffee and espresso drinks, friendly staff, and great bakery. Wonderful views from the front porch in the summer too.

Had a lunch after a relative's funeral. They set aside a back room for the people attending and stayed open a little late for us. It was a favorite of this person who passed and I can see why. Wonderfully accommodating and everyone found something delicious.

Good food, small portions. Kinda pricey. Customer service sucks. Had to go to the counter everytime I needed a drink refill. Wasn't a busy day either. Had a Greek gyro.

Amazing atmosphere, cozy country style seating. Reminded me of eating breakfast at Grandma's house! Try the sourdough french toast, you won't be disappointed!

Great food here, good coffee. Sometimes the wait is a little long and it is hard to get seating but well worth the wait. I know the cook and he does a fantabulous job.

Waitress was wonderful. Don't order egg salad. Ugh.
