Water Street Coffee Joint‎ (Oakland)

This is the best coffee place in Kalamazoo. I don't care what other people say, fourth Coast, Etc. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, describe everything if you ask, and answer any stupid questions you may have. Many products to choose from to eat and drink this place gets an A plus in my book. The Veranda out front is a wonderful place to watch people in traffic as well as you enjoy a sip of their wonderful Java.

Water street is great in theory, but the downtown and Portage locations execute it better. Physical location too small and layout and staffing preclude them getting moble orders done efficiently. 2 for 2 on horrible long waits for simple to go orders.

Every time I go in the staff is friendly, the coffee and food are delicious. I didn't get food this time, only coffee. I purchased Midnight Oil beans for my pour over and just made it tonight. So fabulous. Thanks ladies for the info for picking out the right one for me.

Omg they are the absolute SWEETEST. The cashier offered me a treat because I had been waiting a smidge long (I didn’t even notice) for my coffee and I had a long drive ahead of me. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be coming back!

After a long drive from New York, Water Street is a must stop. The coffee is always great, the food delicious and healthy, and the staff friendly! There is no place else I would rather get my morning coffee in Kalamazoo!😀

A coffee and Incredible Bar will always sweeten your day. The staff are engaging and friendly. Restrooms and seating area are clean. Value is good based on quality of products and size of baked goods.

I stopped by yesterday, and immediately noticed the differences between Oakland and Water Street. Both locations have the cuteness factor down pat, but Oakland has easier access to restrooms (from multiple angles) and the larger parking lot ups the UX factor - which is paramount to my routine. I very much enjoyed the cold brew and breakfast burrito. I will be returning for more stimulants - or until the 131 business opens up again.

Very busy, but our drinks and food were fast, hot and delicious. Staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well decorated. Lived the flowers outside!
