Adorable little store in a small town with absolutely delicious food. Local art, bread, and goods are sold in store as well as genuinely good meals. When I'm in the area again, I definitely plan on returning.

Great food and service! Healthy and fresh. Even my picky kids were happy. Ate there three times during our stay and picked up some nice, locally-made keepsakes from the adjacent shop.

This was my first visit. We happened upon Root on our way somewhere else. The coffee was great and the frittata was delicious. I would have enjoyed myself more if I went without my small child. I say this only because it shared space with a shop with assorted art pieces. Naturally that whole area was a magnet for my boy. I was scared the whole time he was going to destroy the place. It's a nice, quiet spot that I would have liked to sit and enjoy and explore more if I could have. Next time I will be coming adults only.

Customer service was exceptional. The cook served my plate table side. Always a pleasure.

Cute little Bohemian place, the thing that sticks out the most on the menu being adult milk shakes (that is, having liquor inside of them). They have the tables spaced out inside so you can sit over in the art gallery. The food was good but a little eccentric on ingredients- the chili has corn, carrots and sweet potatoes in it, for example. All in all, worth giving a try.

Pizza was amazing, vibe was better, but that chai latte was the absolute best. It's a bit out of the way if you're not originally from the area, but so worth the journey. I genuinely want to go back. Tbh, I'd go back just for that freaking latte. Only bummer was the size, because 16 oz was definitely not enough. I'll take a thermos? The largest you can find.

This place is amazing. Awesome store next door connected to it too. Amazing soups. The best turkey sandwich I've ever had and very chill atmosphere. The menu is more than good and prices are perfect.

Amazing variety and gourmet taste. Would give it more stars if I could

I really loved my vegan and gluten free Black bean burger in the Buckwheat crepe, as well as the home made coleslaw(not completely vegan, but delicious!), and love the beautiful art to enjoy while you wait for your meal. I also appreciated talking with the owner/chef/potter Dawn! Thanks Dawn for offering such wonderful , tasty and healthy food.

The food was good, but the service was horrible. I went with a group of eight girls. Of the eight, three of us, including myself, did not receive our orders and we had to follow-up several times to inquire about the status of our meals. One of the girls in my group had to request a refund because her food still didn't come making us late for a scheduled event. Three of the girls received sandwiches that were incorrect. Instead of offering to remake the sandwiches according to the order, the owner offered a free pastry for the mistake. This was not at all satisfactory. We had to request new bread for one of the girls so that should could eat her sandwich as it was covered in ranch, which she requested be omitted from the sandwich. The food was very good, once I got it,, but it couldn't make up for the poor service.
