Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The hippe hash with brisket was excellent. Well worth their reasonable pricing.

While the venue is kitschy and cool, the service left a lot to be desired. You order your food and pick a table. You have to tip at this point and have idea how the service will be. I always tip 20% , so I did. Then you wait and wait. We waited 45 minutes until I asked about our order, which was suddenly ready.5. Minutes later. It had obviously been sitting and reheated. We ordered scrambled eggs and French toast. There were egg shells in the French toast.

Amazing food! I had the Italian Sausage panini as it was recommended by the staff. It was incredibly good. The sausage was not a link sausage which made it even better. My daughter had a garlic white flatbread pizza. I had a couple of bites and was extremely impressed. My wife left and said it was one of the best lunches she has had in a long time

Nice quiet place to have coffee or breakfast/lunch. You can sit outside on the sidewalk, or inside at a table or couch. The food has always been good. The staff is always friendly. Its a nice small town spot.

Such a great space and vibe! The art pieces on the walls make me feel wonder, joy, rejuvenation, and peace. Visited for late lunch/early dinner today. The traditional flatbread pizza was one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life! Compliments to the chef!

Cute cafe with good food! Was able to satisfy a gluten free diet and a vegan diet. Plus it was dog friendly with seating out front.

We visited here to listen to a friend who was scheduled to play Christmas music on their piano. We got decaf tea and a steamer with almond milk. I liked that they had Rooibos tea, I don't see that one very often and it's over of my favorites.
Overall, the environment was very nice and the food menu looked good altho we didn't order since we weren't hungry. There was a store attached as well which had different art items and homemade pasta. Seating inside the restaurant/Cafe was a little limited but it looked like there may have been heated outdoor seating based on the number of people I saw outside. I'd go here again.

Absolutely loved this place. It had charm, the staff was AWESOME! It serves a better quality of food so you can expect to pay a little more but well worth it. Had soups you don't find everywhere. I had the Butternut Bisque soup. Was really good, warming in flavor, and very satisfying. They had Gluten Free cookies which were great. Their food was unique and not your run of the mill menu. Very surprising for a small town. Well worth a stop to check it out. Will be stopping on a regular basis when going that way!

Whenever I go up north, I take a short detour to stop at Root Cafe. It's such a charming space, and the food is very fresh and delicious - and very reasonably priced. I always get the empanadas.
