The cafe was quiet and had good air circulation. We ordered a latte and cappuccino and both were excellent, nice and strong. And we ordered a plate of shakshuka which was delicious and came with two nice big pieces of bread. One thing to add would be two butters for the bread. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 19 Drips has taken over the old Songbird Cafe on Jackson Road. Plenty of parking available. And some outdoor tables for nice days.

I come here for work often and just found this place. Excellent! Coffee was very good, which is hard to find, and I had a Yemen style scrambled egg that was excellent. Add that the guys working were friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this place.
One suggestion is to have raw sugar available as an option for the coffee.

I decided to try some different coffee spots in AA. First, the environment feels ok less cozy than I expected. I ordered small black coffee. It was $3.66. I paid with cash 3.71 so I can get a nickel back. But the cashier didn’t even notice how much I gave him. I didn’t say anything, whatever… the coffee is just pre-made. And the lid was not closed when he handed to me. The other guy working noticed and greeted with a nice goodbye.

The black coffee was more on the burnt/dark side. And I usually like mid to darker coffees. It is a nice touch that they have a water station. I saw the good reviews and wanted to try. But either the coffee nor the service is going to keep me back. A little sad :(

The family that owns this place are some of the nicest people, and they happen to make the best coffee in Ann Arbor. They bought the old Songbird Cafe, redecorated the place, and expanded their menu to include a bunch of breakfast and lunch options. Everything I've had off the food menu has been fantastic, and it's still the best latte you can get around here.

Decent but overpriced. The breakfast sandwich I got was above average, but I regret that I spent almost $10 for it when I can get the same for $5

The coffee is worth coming back for, however

Went to 19 Drips for the first time to meet a colleague before work.

Its best feature is its location. If you need an easy place to stop in for a quick cup of coffee or to meet someone on the West side of Ann Arbor off Jackson road without heading into town, 19 Drips is a great location to hop on/off the highway.

We've been to both 19 Drips locations, and we love them both. The coffee (and hot chocolate) are great, and the food at the Jackson Road location is really good. The staff have all been friendly and knowledgeable, and we've told our friends that they should definitely check 19 Drips out.

Fantastic place! Stopped here while passing through and had some coffee, salmon avocado toast, falafel panini and some bakery items and it was all delicious!!!
