We were walking down commercial on the 12th of May, looking for a place to eat breakfast, and saw the adorable cafe heaven! Sadly, the open date said May 13th, but there seemed to be people inside. We walked inside and were told that today was friends and family day, as they were kicking off the 2021 season the following day. Disappointed, as we turned to leave, they invited to sit for breakfast. We were offered complimentary drinks. The server was chill yet attentive, super helpful and funny. We all had delicious breakfasts. When we were finished, the server told us we were all set! We fully intended on paying, but she absolutely refused payment. Blown away by the proprietors’ generosity, excellent food, funky and inviting atmosphere. We will be back as fully paying customers and highly recommend this special cafe to all!

It's always perfectly spot on with excellent food and great location. Can't go wrong with any of the meal choices and atmosphere is perfect for Provincetown.

One of my favorites when visiting ptown. Known for its breakfast but dinner is just as good. Great menu and friendly staff.

This is the second time I’ve been to cafe heaven. I was a bit disappointed this time around. After being seated, we hadn’t been acknowledged for 10 minutes. So I nicely got up & asked to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about us & the waiter was a little rude about it. The food was pretty good-the roast beef sandwich, New England clam chowder & breakfast sandwich were good. I ordered lemon ricotta pancakes without pears & when they brought it out it had pears but were nice about redoing it for me. The pancakes weren’t bad but I didn’t taste any lemon & they were pretty wet & mushy...not light & fluffy like I am used to. Italian soda & latte were delicious. Might give it another try next time I’m in the area.

Had late-night takeout and it was perfect for what we needed on our first night in ptown because it was fast service, delicious, and well-portioned.

Fish sandwich on GF bread was great and so were the fries.

João thank you for your fabulous service! ❤️‍🔥

9/10 recommend.

What a gem! We ate at Lobster Pot and a couple other 'celebrated' places. They were fine, but felt a bit touristic and didn't live up to the hype. We were longing for a ''real' place - not touristic, but with heart and soul. We found it at Cafe Heaven. The eggs Benedict were A+. The pancakes and french toast were perfect. My 7 year-old daughter said it was the best she ever had- and she is quite the critic. Then there is something - I know it sounds mundane - that might have been the best I have ever had: wait for it.... THE CORN BREAD. OMG. You have to go here just to try the best cornbread ever created. Oh, and the Blueberry muffins were also singular - you should not miss those either. If you want a 'real' place, with soul and a magic hand in the kitchen, this is your spot.

Amazing place and the food is incredibly delicious. I went here for brunch and the wait was a little long but worth it!! A must go if you are in Ptown

Wish the new owners well and hope they get their liquor license soon!!!!

The food is amazing and the portions generous. Our server Marc ( the French speaking guy from Montreal) was not only courteous but he was super nice.

Cafe Heaven is a great place and I wish it’s new owners success!!!

I've eaten here dozens of times over the years. It's one of my favorite places for breakfast or brunch, but they do a nice job on lunch and dinner too. I don't think they take reservations because nobody I know has ever made them there, so it boils down to timing. If there are more than 4 or 5 people waiting outside, you might have a little wait as the place only seats about 40 people (just an estimate based on my visual recall). But sometimes you get lucky and a few tables open up at once. On the downside, the tables are packed close together, so your neighbors are close enough to start a conversation. But it's always buzzing with activity, such that anyone not next to you or across from you often can't be heard above the din anyway. It's not annoyingly loud or it wouldn't be so popular and I wouldn't keep going back, but if you're looking for a quiet, romantic setting, there are plenty of other places in town that can provide that in abundance. And if your waiter is a little bit rude, don't take it personally--that's part of P-Town's offbeat charm--as long as they serve you well, which is pretty consistent. The decor is gallery-like, with high walls covered in original artwork, all of it for sale by local artists. To suit the Heaven theme, the upper walls and I think the ceiling too, are painted like a blue sky with fluffy clouds. Cute, but the paintings hanging everywhere are far more interesting. Menu prices are reasonable for a seaside resort in season, and portions are fairly generous. Undecided? Try it! It's lively with good food and great for people watching, especially if you get one of the rare window seats.
