Cafe Heaven

I was looking to splurge since it was my birthday and my traveling companion had eaten here the night before and enjoyed the bouillabaisse. However my experience left me disappointed.

The house savignon blanc was bright, grapefruity and served deliciously cold, although it seemed to take a while to arrive.

My starter serving of 2 lobster corn cakes tasted nothing like lobster nor corn and were served brutally charred and the texture was rather limp. My dining partner and I suffered through trying to make the most of them until about 1/3 of one was left but we couldn't take it any more. My server said they were one of the place's favorites and remarked that we could have said something earlier. True.

My dinner mate had a good burger while I had the Piri Piri chicken which was flavorful but I found it a bit overdone. The accompanying vegetable was forgettable and the cheesy grits had an uneven texture ranging from smooth to chunky even to the point of crunchy in the same bite.

We enjoyed an after dinner drink and I noticed a couple of tables away one of the diners was enjoying what looked like to be a bread basket. As my check arrived I questioned the server if bread was extra. He questioned, "You didn't get bread?" and when I replied that I hadn't no apology was offered.

The unevenness of the food and the service from this one experience left me dissatisfied in general and doubly disappointed on my birthday.

Amazing service by Debbie, super friendly staff all around, attentive service, great and tasty food. Local is very well kept and cleaned. Decor on point. In P.Town for the 1st time and can't wait to come back! 🥂❤👍

Best breakfast in Ptown. Great pancakes w real maple syrup and fresh fruit. Home made corn bread and english muffins are superb. Egg scrambles and make your own omelets are soft and to die for. Staff are friendly and helpful. New owner Quinn is super. Maintainig the top quality of Heaven. A dont miss.

We made it a point to go to breakfast at Cafe Heaven while in Ptown because we'd heard and read so much about it. The food was great. The service was mediocre, at best. By the end of our meal, we felt as though our presence was more of a nuisance than a welcome. Disappointed. Doubtful we will return unless this place is the only spot open for grub.

Did not eat here, just sharing that this restaurant is closed for the season. Reopening in 2022. Would have been nice for the owners to update their google listing before we drove down from Orleans for breakfast.

Food was Amazing!!!! A lot of specialty drinks!!!! A lil wait time but staff was very nice and helpful! I will definitely come here EVERY TIME I am in town!!!!

Loved having brunch here! The Benedict options are unique, French toast was delicious, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Great little place. Ordered Heavens Salad and Mimosa, both made with fresh ingredients. Very friendly atmosphere. Would recommend :)
