Woodstar Cafe

I only had a few minutes to stop in and study and there was a long line, so I was worried... but I was able to get my dirty chai and peanut butter choco cookie from the friendly staff and sit down at an open table within five minutes! It seems like they have the right amount of people working there to handle busy mornings, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

Their sandwiches are excellent, treats delicious and their drinks and teas and just so good. Always consistent and the staff are so nice. Love coming here for a treat and sandwich. They also serve half sandwiches which is helpful and have nice veggie options!

I love Woodstar!! ❤️ The pastries, coffee, and food are delicious, and the staff are wonderful. A great place to see and be seen!

Addendum...there is sometimes an issue caused by some customers. There are some solo guys who "camp out" with a device to play with. They don't offer to share their table, so lots of seats go unused. They're also ignoring the polite notice that encourages customers to share space and not stay forever. This is not fair to the staff, owner, and polite customers.

First time here - such a good sandwich. The gluten free bread doesn’t crumble to oblivion, it absolutely held up and had great flavor and texture. There’s something for everyone with plenty of GF, DF, & vegan options. Husband reported a very good cannoli as well, filling was dense and ricotta-y, as it should be. They were very busy but perfectly friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to come back to try more of their stuff! Worth a stop for sure.

Great place but things go quickly and when two registers are operating at the same time the servers seem to be unaware when a last item has been ordered by the other register. An uncomfortable encounter today when my server seemed unable to speak up or push back at two coolegues to say the item had already been ordered and was told that the item wasn't his. As a customer I had to address the situation by talking to the other customer who acknowledged she had ordered after me....uncomfortable for both of us. Maybe calling out the item once ordered if there are only one or two left or getting the item before the other items ordered would solve this problem.

What's not to love about this place? Bread, delicious. Sandwiches, delicious. Salads, delicious. Sweets, delicious. (Try the macarons!) The Rebecca salad is so simple but so good, and all of the sandwiches are amazing. Never had anything bad here.

Better bring cash if you want a cup. I was asked to purchase a 5 dollar gift certificate if I wanted to buy an espresso with my credit card.

Very racist Bakery, if they don't like the way you look, they won't look at you, acknowledge you, talk to you, or wait on you!

Fun cafe with lots of great options. Coffee was decent, Thunderbolt sandwich was hearty and delicious. Chocolate cookie was large, soft in the center, and crispy edges.
