This place is an absolute gem of Lowell as is Mill no.5 as a whole. Seems like a great place to bring a laptop or book as there's plenty of seating and a very pleasant vibe. There's everything you'd expect from a good cafe regarding coffee and snacks plus beer, wine, and kombucha on tap!

Super nice selection and atmosphere for a lunch break when shopping at this excellent place in a renovated mill. We sat in the corner surrounded on two sides by a lending library. The sandwiches and soup were great! Check out my photo of the grilled cheese of the month with my African peanut soup. Only crit was the cafe au lait I ordered that showed up as just a large coffee with no sign of any steamed milk?

I love the atmosphere and the food. It can be a bit expensive for food and drink but I believe it's worth it.

Great vibes! Drip coffee was just ok. Had a fancy grilled cheese that was incredible. Hot chocolate was not good.

Love it. This even has a room in back with games for kids to play. Just go with your friends and the kids and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids play games.

I've been going to this spot for a couple years now and they are exactly what you want from a coffee shop. The vibe is amazing, chill music, cool people, refurb mill aesthetics, and amazing coffee and food. They also do a lot of live music and other cool events that coincide with the mill they are in. Honestly I can't recommend them highly enough.

An old friend works there. He's great. He even has a nickname! The coffee is good, I didn't try the food, but knowing that my friend who works there is cooking the food, I know that the food is good. Great job!

Awesome Vibes and cool spot to have a excellent coffee and a breakfast sandwich. They are more like a panino but they are Great tasting! If your in the area check them Out! Promise you will not be disappointed. Ps The Mocha latte was great, iced and hot. But try it all, they put heart in to making coffee and food!

TLDR; great cafe, hands-down my favorite in the area up until this point, had bad experience with help from workers and was met with incredible response to my previous review.
I come here pretty often and recently misplaced my wallet while here. I tried to call 10 different times over the course of Thursday and Friday but was led straight to the recorded voicemail. I came in (my home is 50 mins away), didn’t have a good experience, and left a long review about it.
While I was still in the cafe, I was greeted by the manager who talked it out with me in a really compassionate way before taking my contact info to reach out to me if it’s found and offering to make up for it as well in compensation. I was pretty floored. All in all, the food and coffee is great enough to come, not to mention the amazing vibe of the place— but in terms of customer service, you’ll be well taken care of too.

I had an iced coffee and a cappuccino. Both were very strong, which is how I like it. Iced coffee was more of a cold brew.
Better than the coffee, though, was the ambiance and environment. Located inside and old Mill, they kept everything original, including the wood floor. Could hang out there all day. Will be back, for sure.
