Coffee and Cotton is an unexpectedly cool spot with solid food and coffee. The location and atmosphere are very interesting, situated in an old mill building. Surrounding Coffee and Cotton are a variety of other small shops, so this is a nice place to grab a coffee and spend a little bit of time looking around. As far as food goes, it took a bit of time for a sandwich but not unreasonably long, and it wasn't bad. Their coffee was also good, I'd say probably better than a Starbucks. Overall, this is a really nice place to check out and grab a coffee if in the area.

Very cute place. The prices are fairly average for this type of coffee shop. The food is good, as are most of the drinks. Sometimes the quality and/or taste are a bit uneven. For instance, I had a gross chai the other day. They remade it, but it still wasn’t great. However, it’s usually really good. We go here when we get the chance. They also have plenty of seating, which is nice.

Adorable setting inside The Mill at 5, unique seating. Awesome coffee! Sandwich choices looked great, I'll be back to try them out!

Phenomenal coffee and a great atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem in Lowell. I would highly recommend it. I go out of my way to go here to have the Maple caramel latte. I would also recommend the brownies and breakfast sandwiches. They also have vegan options if that's what you're looking for.

What a hidden gem! This coffee shop has tons of unique seating that ranges from open conference tables to small crannies that tuck you away in the privacy of beautiful wood walls. The lighting is beautiful in both presentation and ambience. I cannot recommend this place enough. They also have kombucha on tap!

Barista(pic): since, because quarantine has forced us to require customers to always take their drinks outside, you don't see our latte art anymore, I wanted to show it to you before I put the lid on for you.
This is how you know a place is run with commitment, passion and love. This review is long overdue.
I've been going to this coffee for months. I only wished they opened more than just weekend mornings!
Their selection of beans is always on point. Never stale. Always fresh. I usually get the traditional latte and I'm always surprised by the excellent execution as I taste the same nuanced flavors every time.
No pastry has every disappointed - they even rotate their pastries to introduce variety in times of covid (reduced menu). Their teas definitely are worth trying.
This place fosters nothing but good vibes and good coffee.

This place is one of the best cafe's I've ever been to. The lighting is beautiful and the space is expansive with different rooms to chill in, including a lovely library area and a fireplace. I came on a Monday and it was quiet and perfect to do work in (way better than another Lowell coffee shop I recently visited--way too loud and distracting of an environment). Coffee was great too. Overall fantastic experience, what a gem, can't wait to return. Thank you!

I love this place, I do. It’s dog friendly and the food is good and it is a fun place for a date. However my issue is how many rules the menu has. You can’t get certain things at certain times for whatever reason. It’s almost like the only way I can order exactly what I want to have is if I memorized their menu schedule. It makes me not want to take the time to find parking in downtown, wait in line only to be told I can’t have what I want. There has been times what I was craving literally sold out to the person in front of me which is frustrating but no one’s fault. The other things I have ordered are either really good or just ok. The price is kinda high but worth it for a nice date around the shops. All in all, I do not come here frequently but wish I could.
