Bread + Roses is exactly what the community needs. Great food and drinks and a carefully curated selection of books and gifts that promote learning, truth, justice, and equity. A welcoming staff, fun events and live music too. They’re constantly updating their menu and trying new things. Go eat, drink and hang out for a while!

The food here is wonderful and entirely plant based. Very innovative recipes and great atmosphere, sitting among a smart collection of books. Apparently a lot of “haters” have posted adverse reviews because they obviously are put off by the kindness this restaurant emanates and slight political activism it espouses. Don’t believe those reviews. Try this place for yourself. You will be pleased.

ACCEPTING & WELCOMING! Love the local and progressive vibe of this place! They have amazing home-roasted coffee and I love the selection of vegan options. If I lived closer, I’d definitely be there all the time. Will be back next time I’m in Hyannis.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere and possibly the best egg sandwich I've ever had.

Stopped in on our way back to Boston to get coffee and bagel. Both were delicious. Bought a book while I was there. It is a book lovers paradise and nice chill vibe. My kinda people.

Went every morning for coffee while on vacation. The coffee was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. The theme of the store was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back on our next vacation to the Cape.

Really cool place, LOVED the sweet potato sandwich and the live music. Very friendly staff and owner.
