Mad City Coffee

Great relaxing place to enjoy coffee and light food. When you open the door you will immediately smell the wonderful coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is clean and parking is plenty. Also some outdoor seating available. Worth the time to stop by and try this wonderful coffee shop.

A great coffee spot that smells great when walking in. There are loads of coffee flavors here. I was super excited that the has a selection of decaf coffee, be it small, but glad it exist. I visited late in the day and didn't want to be up late at night from drinking a fully caffeinated cup 😅. I man wants a good night's rest!

I'm not giving it a full 5 stars because the good old coffee house vibe with it's unique style, wasn't there. Yes, I would definitely come back because the food and coffee was good. However, I couldn't see myself actually wanting to hangout here.

Only a review about the coffee beans—I only came in one time to get some beans! It’s a cute place, more of a cafe than a coffee shop. I got some Costa Rican beans and asked that they be ground for pour over. The flavor of the coffee is great! But my grounds were far far too coarse for pour over. I used them in my French press, but there was also somehow tons of silt (like super fine grounds) in my cup of coffee. I don’t know how it’s both too coarse AND too fine. I’m guessing it’s something about their grinder? I don’t know. They have tons of flavor options so if you’re not a specialty coffee drinker it might be a great selection for you. As a more traditional coffee drinker, I was disappointed and probably won’t go here again.

We were trying to order at the register and there were two employees talking very loudly behind the cashier to the point that she could not hear my order. She got very flustered and had to ask me to repeat my order three or four times. My boyfriend and I ordered two coffees and two sandwiches. It was a little over $20. We went and sat down and had our food in about 10 minutes, but no drink. We ate the sandwiches which were okay but not great. We sat and talked for a while. Still no drinks. About 45 minutes after we ordered, we noticed no one was making drinks anymore. My boyfriend asked an employee if they were still making our drinks. The employee was very kind and apologized profusely. He upsized our drinks at no charge. However, the drinks were also not very good. The customer service (aside from the employee who made our drinks at the end) was worse than the food and drinks. From having to repeat my order three times at the beginning because the other employees were yelling right at the register to having our order forgotten about, I would not recommend going here, especially if you’re looking for a quick and relaxing breakfast.

For the many years apart that I have been coming to this place they have not fixed the urinal flush or the disgusting rusting partition. This is a business with zero pride of ownership. This is lost opportunity.

This place has a great vibe and the coffee is amazing. This place is very friendly for the umbrella Community..I am enjoying a rare night out of hipster fun..Nice organic atmosphere and positive energy!!! Highly recommend this place.

First, I NEVER make reviews, but this needs to be talked about.
Came for breakfast and a girl was checking me out when the other male coworker began to cat-call me behind the counter. The girl asked if I wanted anything else, and the man continued to cat-call me stating, "Whatever you want take the whole store". The female staff had ignored the comments that were made but if I were in her position, I wouldn’t have known what to say or do either.
I shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable going into a public place and ordering a coffee. Food was delicious but I wouldn’t consider that adequate service. Please, DO BETTER!!!
