I absolutely loved this coffee shop, the coffee the service and the atmosphere... It was truly a meditating place to sip a cup of coffee and start your morning.

Wonderful and inviting environment. Friendly staff and restaurant. I tried their avocado toast with poached eggs with their northern light latte. I enjoyed every single bit of my experience at this restaurant.

First, a note regarding the bathrooms: you have to ask for the code and each bathroom has its own one. My party had a lot of trouble getting the right code or maybe typing it right or something. Not sure what the issue was, but just prepare to be determined :)
The coffee is very good. Dogs are allowed outside. The outdoor seating is nice, but best for warm weather. It seems like you'll find maybe a small line, but not too long. The drinks didn't take long to make.

Ceremony is consistently the best coffee in Baltimore. Harbor East location is my favorite, but the others are good as well.

Such a great spot. If you like the color white then this is your place ;) Actually it’s beautifully laid out and the natural light is fantastic. Excellent third wave style shop roasting in house and serving great pour overs, lattes and the americano has always been on point. Baristas are pretty friendly. If you’re in the Baltimore area it’s worth the stop.

Ceremony has good coffee. It's not the best coffee I've ever had, but it comes close to Blue Bottle. It's also a local Maryland roaster, from Annapolis. Those are the good things. The bad? Aggressively hipster locale, slow as molasses service, and long lines when people have anything slightly complicated. Oh, and extremely high prices. You will pay the same amount here for your fancy drinks as you would in San Francisco, which is pretty crazy for Baltimore. I would like this place a lot more if the prices and service were a bit more on the friendly side. Also - these dirty dishes have been sitting on this table for the entire time I've been here, with multiple employees walking by, conveniently ignoring them.

I stopped in here for a cold brew while visiting Baltimore from out of town. The coffee was delicious and the lighting and general space is beautiful. However, I couldn't find an outlet that worked to charge my phone and I thought the music selections were odd. (One song sounded a bit like an alarm going off).

The coffee is great (around same cost as Starbucks) and the interior is full of what seems like endless natural light (great for mornings where you're tired). Lots of college students; very safe and welcoming environment.
Only drawback is the location (as of now). There is a ton of construction right next to it, but that will likely be finished within a year or so. The area is moderately safe and the outside seating is very nice.

Love this place. I would agree that they can be slow sometimes and for that reason, I don’t stop by there on my way to work. I recognize that they’re not a “fast food” coffee place so I don’t expect to get my oat milk flat white or americano 2 seconds after ordering. But, every single time I’ve been here, the coffee associates are working their tails off. If you just take a second to watch, no one is sitting down or doing nothing. I can acknowledge and appreciate that having been a barista myself for a few years. My experience with all but one barista has been great and everyone apologizes if they forget something or if things are going slowly. The vibes here are similar to the West Coast and the hipster (do people still use that word?) coffeeshops therr. It’s one big open space, high ceilings, bar-height seating, and normal height seating- lots of it. There’s also outdoor seating. And LOTS OF LIGHT 🤗 but you can find a few dark corners if you’re a vampire. Their entrées are pre-made and stored in a fridge, but toasts and pastries can be warmed. And on the weekends they have gf pastries from a local company. The gf lemon bar in particular was amazing but super oily. Finally, if you care about the flavor profile of your coffee, go here. The oatmilk flat white is amazing and the beans they use compliment the milk. The Americano (not sure which beans were used) had notes of lemon that were so distinct… it was amazing, and I do not like citrus notes in my coffee normally. Their Mexican labeled coffee in a pour over was smooth with a little bit of herb and nut, perfect for people who like pike place from Starbucks, although it has a little more of a citrus bite in the aftertaste. Overall, Mt Vernon is lucky to have Ceremony because they know their coffee, they open at 7(!!!), there’s lots of seating, a few bean options, merch, food, and the baristas/associates are lovely.
