Ceremony coffee has my favorite coffee in the whole city. Their roasts just always hit PERFECTLY! Very bright, you can taste the quality in every sip. Whenever wants to get coffee with me, I have them take me to Ceremony.

I've sampled several of their crafted drinks, and a few seasonal ones because I always ask for a sip from my friends. Why do I not buy them myself? Because every time I walk in, I contemplate the whole menu... but when I walk up to order my mouth instantly says "16 oz NITRO COLD BREW!" It's just so good!

Recently, a friend of mine treated me to some of their avocado toasts. They were perfectly warm, crisp, and delicious. I really liked the lox and some of the pickled onions my friend gave to me :)

Wonderful cafe in Mt. Vernon! The environment is perfect for studying, especially earlier in the morning. The coffee is some of the best I've had, and the food is delicious too. Everything is a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is special!

I keep getting drawn in here when I’m in Baltimore by the seasonal specialty drinks. I had the Northern Lights in spring 2022 (butterfly pea flower latte with, if I remember correctly, plum or hibiscus powder - there was also a version with half matcha and half butterfly pea but they were out of matcha) and the Starlight most recently (winter 2022/23 - oat milk latte with anise, cardamom, and 5 spice syrup, topped with edible glitter). I really liked both of these drinks. I’m sure a lot of the appeal is supposed to be that they’re pretty but I just thought they tasted good and it was nice to have something unique. In terms of the aesthetics, the glitter on the Starlight was not really sparkly and would have been underwhelming if I’d actually cared about getting something glittery. A friend got the iced version and the glitter was barely visible, for the iced version since it doesn’t float on top like with the hot, it definitely needed more glitter to actually look like something. The appearance was more important to her than it was to me so she was a little disappointed, although she also thought the taste was great. The Northern Lights was a very pretty drink though. The drinks are more expensive than your typical lattes but worth it for the preparation. For some reason though they gave us our drinks in disposable cups even though we asked for them for here and there seemed to be an abundance of house cups available.
I also had the Hummus Toast on this visit. A lot of the food options that I was more interested in were out of stock. The ingredients used were of high quality and very fresh but it was just very plain. So I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something simple, it just wasn’t my style. My friend had the grilled cheese and it was just very plain, but I think she liked it. I would say what we got, especially the grilled cheese, was overpriced for what it was.
The service was fine. My friend has a nut allergy and needed to make sure nothing came in contact and they assured her that they would be extra careful, and there was clear communication between staff on that.

I absolutely love this coffee shop and love this location. Their avocado toast is the best that I’ve personally ever had. I order a matcha latte each time and I am never ever disappointed. Their chai lattes aren’t as good as their matcha lattes and I’m not a huge fan of their hot chocolate either. I’m a huge fan of this location specifically. You do have to pay for parking which is the only downside but the location itself is absolutely cozy.

Oh my good goddess in all the heavens...this coffee was so smooth and so delicious! As coffee aficionados, we fell in love from the first sip and bought 4 bags of coffee and went back to visit multiple times during our trip. Super interested in the workshops/classes that were advertised- we'll be watching out for events from the newsletter for sure! Also both locations we visited were very trendy and had excellent vibes - I was most surprised by how quiet the brewing equipment was...definitely not like your typical coffee shop. This would be an excellent coffee shop to go to read or work on schoolwork (or career work).

Got a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit and it was average. It’s the size of one from Rofo or McDonald’s but costs more. The drink had a good matcha with a Sakura flavor you can really taste. Person taking my order spelled my name correctly and that was nice.

Had a quick meeting here today and decided to get a non coffee beverage. I have the Sakura Bloom - it is a cold refreshing. The rose petals are a pleasant touch. ☺️

I’ve enjoyed all of their seasonal drinks, and give them a 5. The default for all of them is to come with oat milk, which for some reason tastes better than if you order the drinks with milk in my opinion. The food however I rate a 3.. haven’t really found anything of note to eat there.

My go-to place in Baltimore when I need to buy fresh coffee beans. The Mt. Vernon location hosts super engaging and fun cupping (tasting) classes where you get to learn all about the coffees they are offering. Highly recommend!
