Today was my first day visiting Ceremony! I was introduced to their coffee at Park Cafe and wanted to find out more about Ceremony. The coffee shop does not disappoint with a fresh modern interior and friendly staff. One of the best places to study in Baltimore as it has ample seating, good wifi, and lots of natural light. Definitely check out this shop if you enjoy a good cup of coffee!

This place makes a solid cup of espresso. It has a nice spacious atmosphere with an amazing patio. But the baristas have a funk about them. It's either " I'm one of the best in the city or you don't belong here" it's unpleasant.

While apartment hunting in the area I Yelp'd "Coffee near me". Ceremony Coffee Roasters was the first to come up. I'm glad I stopped by. Because of Covid measures, everyone has to order and pick up from an outside window. There's about 5 tables or so outside to sit down though. All of which were occupied with no more than 2 people per table on during my visit.

I asked for the baristas' favorite, I believe she said it was a Mocha Peppermint Latte of some sort. I like Peppermint but not a huge fan of Mocha so I went with the Mint Latte, small, light ice. It took no time for my order to be ready. I could smell the mint from my straw. It was delicious. Next time I'l get a medium. Although I could smell the mint before tasting, it wasn't heavy on the mint taste, get me? It was a perfect blend. It was also served with a small mint leaf inside. Cute! I shall return!

This place sells great coffee, and the beans they use for their brews are fantastic, but their craft itself is inconsistent. Usually, the barista at the register is very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing beans or a specialty coffee mocktail, but about 50% of the time I've been, my drink didn't really seem to be worth the price I paid for it, which is kind of the ultimate sin for a place that claims to invest so much time and effort into training it's employees and creating an original menu.

Okay, so first, a bit of background: I have, of late, been hunting down new coffee spots, since there are so many good local places that I was previously oblivious to. Ceremony was mentioned in 2 "best coffee in Baltimore" lists, and the menu sounded unique. Found it with little to no trouble. The ambience there is very chill, with a space that's nestled into the neighborhood, but also full of windows to allow for plenty of sunshine. As far as lattes, my usual go to, they only have vanilla & chocolate syrups on hand, which initially disappointed me. I ordered my vanilla iced latte, and stepped to the side. As I was waiting and exploring the rest of the store, one of the baristas began making this gorgeous drink that started with a house made blueberry syrup 😍 on further investigation, I found out that this was a seasonal drink called "Good Vibrations". Without missing a beat, he switched out my order, making me one of those wonderful concoctions from the blueberry syrup, nitro cold brew & a vibrant, hot pink, hibiscus whipped cream to top it all off. Should've taken a picture, but I dove right in. This drink is the perfect farewell to summer, and I will be getting another before it comes off the menu of I can help it. If their other seasonal offerings are as inspired as this one, they definitely have a new, loyal customer. Verdict? Take the trip. Too much lovely local coffee to explore to let Starbucks and Dunkin have all the traffic💯

This has become my favorite coffee shop for hanging out. The drinks and food are exceptional, the folks working here are wonderful, and it's got lots of seating. The atmosphere is very pleasant; perfect for work or conversation.

My favorite place to get espresso drinks in Baltimore! Pricey, but worth it. Always happy with the service. There is more than enough seating and it's a great stop for those looking for a quiet place to work/study.

It's a nice place to have a quick one on one meeting. The coffee is good but the staff aren't as helpful as I generally like. I need to be educated a little about the coffee options because I don't know that much. They make me feel stupid sometimes. It's all a bit trendy for me. As I was writing this, I started at a five star review and slowly took stars away. I guess I don't recommend this as highly as I thought.

At the risk of sounding like a fan girl, I must admit, Ceremony produces the best beans I’ve ever had. Every time I’m in Baltimore I pick up a bag. Some of my favorites are Winter 2019 Annual, mass appeal, and antithesis. Their website is super helpful in picking out the right coffee for you. The shop is light and airy, but one thing I don’t love is the high ceilings and lack of carpet etc magnify every sound! If everyone else in the place is quiet, and you and a friend or 2 are talking, you will be loud, and you may feel out of place. Just a heads up!

I love stopping in to get coffee here. The baristas really make each drink with precision and care. Fellow coffee snobs look no further, you’ll be happy here!
