Birches Coffee Bar and Market

I stopped in for a quick coffee, not expecting to much. I assumed it was a regular coffee shop. Much to my surprise I was greeted with outstanding customer service and a delicious tasting coffee! I would recommend to anyone passing by, stop in for a smile and a coffee.

Highly recommend!! I got a cold brew and ricotta toast — both were great. My husband got an everything bagel and he enjoyed it. Great spot!

Coconut cold brew was fantastic, best I’ve ever had!!! The avocado toast was also delicious, and they have gluten free bread which is great. There was an excellent selection of local cheeses and the owners were very knowledgeable about the products, the farms, etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent, simply put. Coffee selection in itself is outstanding, and then pair it with fresh homemade baked goods.. oh my gosh. The prices are fair and won't leave your wallet empty.

The owners are kind and make you feel very welcome and unrushed (I find this happens at coffee shops too often, but not here!).

If you're looking for local gifts and wine, the store offers a wide variety for all occasions and price points. The displays are exquisite and handmade by the owners friends.

If you like your espresso drinks rich, deep, dark, and delicious, you will love Birches. I stop here for curbside almost every weekend on my northern travels. They have gluten-free goodies in addition to their daily pastry offerings. And their service is fast and friendly. A great new addition to the area!

I live nearby and go here often. The coffee is excellent and the food is delicious. Plus, the owners and staff are super friendly. Can't recommend enough!

We stayed in Wiscasset for a couple nights and I'm usually dreading the local coffee shops due to the acidity and cheap taste. This was not that at all. BEST coffee ever. It beats Starbucks, Dunkin all of it. We will definitely be buying a few bags to roast at home and figure out if we can get this shipped. It was so delicious, owners are super nice too.

Delicious food and fantastic coffee. Beautiful patio seating out back. Especially appreciated the Adirondack chairs tucked into the woods.
