Very clean. Friendly fast service. We had breakfast. Food was prepared to order. Great coffee, homemade lemonade! Omelet was delicious, cooked very well,as was toast. Definitely going again! Can't wait to try donuts.

Highly recommend The Appalachian Trail Cafe for Breakfast. The entire experience was wonderful! The friendly staff helped to get my very sick aunt into the restaurant so we could have a nice breakfast together. I look forward to going back the next time I'm in Millinocket. Thank you Meagan and Wayne for all your help!! Rebecca

So excited that this restaurant has returned to as a breakfast and lunch spot serving breakfast all day and lunch from 11. Much needed place for downtown Millinocket.

Friendly place with amazing food! It had just opened yesterday but there were few vacant seats. Filled with lots of locals and occasional backpackers, fresh off the trail. If you're there, try the Millinocket Special or the Monte Cristo and make sure to try the Homemade Grilled English Muffin!

Interesting choice about Mexican, but I can respect the decision. My dad was working there at the peak of it's business, and a lot has changed since then. I wish that the new owners would've not kept the original name since this name "The Appalachian Trail Cafe" means more than food, It was a place for dignity and pride about the mountain and the Appalachian trail, not Mexican cuisine. I wish the best of luck to this restaurant and maybe someday it will return to its former tourist distraction and menu.

Our family had a weekend getaway and wanted to do breakfast at a local place. Usually this means all the local patrons stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable; and the staff pays you little mind. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Other customers looked kindly on us and made playful comments toward our rambunctious kids. The food was hot and delicious. We will happily go there again if we're in the area again.

If you like Tater Tots you will love this place. Staff is friendly but food is sub-par. Huge helping of tots but English muffin was weird. If you are visiting Millinocket you don't have a lot choice so don't expect too much. Wanted to like this place but would not go back again.

Our experience wasn’t what I’d expect from a small town restaurant. Our server never came to ask how our meal was. I ordered the omelet and wanted to substitute the tots for hash, which apparently you’re not allowed to do. So I paid the extra $4 for a side of hash, which I couldn’t even eat because of the overpowering taste of vinegar-y ketchup. Sub-par, at best.

Great breakfast at the AT Cafe! we went for breakfast both yesterday and today. The ownership has recently changed, but this was my first time here, so I cannot comment on the cafe as ran by the prior owners.

The staff was super friendly and attentive, made sure we had everything we wanted.

I ordered the Corned Beef Hash special the first day, and the Millinocket Scramble the second day. Corned beef hash was made from scratch, super tasty. was excellent with the poached eggs I ordered (2 eggs your way are part of the meal). coffee was really tasty, and the wheat bread was hearty and tasty with their strawberry jelly.

the scramble was great - bacon, mushrooms, cheese, and I think onions. delicious.

home fries were cooked very well.

I will definitely be making AT Cafe a regular stop this snowmobiling season.
