Blueberry pancake is truly exceptional! After a week of dining out in Bar Harbor, this was my absolute favorite meal. I also had the bagel platter with smoked trout, which was delicious. But I'll be going back someday for a full order of blueberry pancakes.

we showed up 15 min early for dinner because of the rain. they let us wait in the tent and seated up early.
dinner was delicious! i had the artic char special and it was cooked perfectly with great flavors. my son had the fired chicken which was real chicken ( not prebought chicken tenders) and he thought it was delicious. my daughter had the Caesar salad which came with parm crisps. my husband had the burger which he said was good. the blueberry pie for dessert was delightful! i love pie and this was definitely one of the best ive had.
service was one of the best we’ve had since covid.
all around thumbs up

No frills cafe offering up good breakfast meals. Seems like a staple of Bar Harbor. Between pancakes, toast, eggs, oatmeal, coffee and juices, it's safe to say we had a good sampling size. Nothing was out of the ordinary, everything was good. Service was friendly and especially fast. It felt like we had just ordered when our food was being served. Definitely a must visit if in town and they have a small parking lot as you approach the entrance.

Great coffee good service and home jam and real maple syrup. Loved the art and vibe.

Truly a gem in Bar Harbor. I think this restaurant Is the reason we visit this town (certainly one of the factors).

Food here is brilliant.

Service is fast and fantastic.

The 15 minute wait was only 5 minutes.

The food was on the table literally 5 minutes after ordering.

Prices are reasonable.

Never a disappointment here!

My favorite brunch spot in Bar Harbor! This cafe has the most adorable, cozy atmosphere filled with books and bookshelves to make you feel like you're eating in a library. The food is delicious - I got the Eggs Benedict and it was too die for!

We visited the day we departed Bar Harbor. We elected to sit outside, which was fantastic. Our server arrived promptly and gave us excellent but non-pushy service.
.
My wife quite enjoyed her Canadian Bacon Benedict. She wished there was more hollandaise, because she really liked it.
.
My Kit's Burrito was a little disappointing. Coming from Texas, had I not been told this had chorizo, I would not have guessed. It tasted fine, but not like chorizo I've had. The tortilla was a bit dry as well. Overall, a solid burrito but not 5 stars.
.
Overall, this was a nice breakfast at a charming location.

Staff seemed preoccupied, not very attentive. Had the eggs Benedict. there wasn't much hollandaise sauce and it seemed past it's prime. Eggs were overcooked with a hard yolk.

Best pancakes I have ever eaten! Probably going back tomorrow for more or to try their corned beef hash. Service is amazing. Definitely check this place out!

Absolutely Amazing for vegeterians, as an Indian the Paneer Tikka masala was fantastic. Wait time was good, service was amazing and the environment is lively and populated with book shelves. We had dinner here but they also serve breakfast.

Definitely recommend
