We enjoyed Cafe This Way so much, that we visited twice during our stay in the area.

The host is fantastic, friendly, and keeps things moving. His positive attitude always made my morning start off with a smile.

The blueberry pancakes here are delicious. The best I had in Bar Harbor. Home fries are cooked to perfection too.

Plenty of seating inside and out. I particularly thought their inside decor was really cute.

A most stop by spot for breakfast, especially before a big hike!

I had the pleasure of having breakfast here yesterday and it was fantastic! The blueberry pancakes were amazing (try them!!), I got them as a part of the country breakfast which was perfect after an early morning sunrise hike up Cadillac mountain. Being a vegetarian, I was really happy they had a plant-based sausage option. They also have a tofu scramble in case you have any vegans in your group. Plus, bottomless hot coffee! What’s not to love :)

The staff here was also incredibly kind. Brenna (I hope I am spelling it correctly) took great care of me and always made sure I had enough coffee! I was also impressed by the way she took the time to talk to the customers and get to know them, and make them feel at home.

I hope I get the opportunity to come back in the future!

Second visit for breakfast while vacationing in Acadia. Last time was ten years earlier. My wife remembered this place because it was very good. They do pancakes VERY well. Try the wild maine blueberry pancakes and you will not be disappointed. The breakfast burrito was excellent. Kids loved the chocolate chip and plain pancakes. Clean, bright, large and well ventilated. Friendly and competent staff. Well worth the visit.

Staff was very nice and the amount of outdoor seating availability is great. I’m happy that they have a vegan option for breakfast but was a little underwhelmed with my food experience. Two of us went for breakfast and ordered the same thing, “The Vegan”. The food came out remarkably fast, like less than ten minutes. We ordered the same thing but the portion sizes were very different by like 30%, the food on one plate was nearly too hot to eat while the other was just warm, both were on the soggy side. The flavor was good. I’ve been to Cafe This Way before and had many wonderful experiences, and will return again. This was my first less than wonderful experience and first time for breakfast. I’ll try it again and hope to have a better experience.

Great much needed breakfast before heading into Acadia for the day! Very convenient location tucked away near the Village Green where we awaited pickup for the Island Explorer for transportation into the park. Staff was very friendly, service was fast, and the breakfast/coffee hit the spot while enjoying some fresh air in their relaxed outdoor dining area.

We came here for breakfast and it was a great start to our day.

Both the indoor and outdoor aesthetic of the place was really beautiful and had a relaxing vibe.

We ordered The Usual and The Harney and shared a blueberry pancake. They were all so delicious!

The servers were also very attentive and always checked if we needed anything.

Will definitely come back here for breakfast or just to chill around the next time I pass by Bar Harbor!

We loved this quirky little breakfast place—coffee was great, food was great, service was great. Decor is fun. It seemed like a nice mix of tourists like us and locals—three tables knew each other the second time we were there. They’re open 6:30 am-1 pm daily right now.

Enjoyed this!!!! You absolutely have to try the blueberry pancakes, and breakfast places should serve real maple syrup this way - like Italian places serve olive oil! Perfect way to serve it!

The potatoes, while good, were not as fantastic as the rest of the food.

Great place, large indoor and outdoor seating space. Nice staff, went on Saturday morning, got a place in 5 minutes though it was busy. Ordered the Usual, omelette, bread with a side of blueberries, it was great.

Came out to Arcadia Maine for first time and this was our first breakfast spot. Very nice affordable breakfast , pancakes were different than what I get in MA but the syrup and berries were pretty good. I got the Harney and poached eggs were nice. Nice place for quick bite with friends. Nice friendly cafe food and vibes.
