Cafe This Way

Very unique dining experience. Was a little bit of a wait because everyone wanted their great food but well worth it! My husband and I both really loved our meals! I thoroughly enjoyed the corned beef hash, eggs and yummy sourdough bread. My husband really loved the monte Cristo sandwich! Definitely would recommend. Don't be intimidated by the wait! It's worth it.

Favorite restaurant in Bar Harbor!!! Ate here two nights in a row. Dinner is superb. It feels like fine dining and the staff treats you so nice. Super friendly atmosphere. We sat by the window flowerboxes and loved admiring the art inside while we waited for our food. GET THE KUNG PAO CAULIFLOWER!! Also the Lamb Kofta sliders were so tasty. Even their salads were so hearty and generous. We really love it here and if you want good food you must come and visit. Writing this review as I wait to try out their breakfast! Thanks Cafe This Way for making our trip to Bar Harbor extra special.

Cafe This Way is ideally situated to dine outside which can make for a perfect start to the morning. The Cafe offers fairly standard breakfast fare, but does it well. I asked for my potatoes to be extra crispy and they were which does not often happen. The breakfast coffee is good and a good start to the meal. I thought the wild blueberry pancakes were some of the better I have had. They slightly crisped the sides, but they were fluffy inside. Very tasty. Service is efficient and staff were friendly.

Came here both mornings we stayed in Bar Harbor because my fiance loved the breakfast and atmosphere so much. The food was delicious - you could take your time dining if you wanted - but I deeply appreciate how fast everything moved so we could get out and see the trails even on the day we slept in late.

Adorable Cafe with fun, unique decorations. Delicious breakfast (French toast, eggs, and bacon). I added salt and pepper to the home fries to suit my taste, but these were provided on the table along with a large bottle of syrup.

Unfortunately, was expecting more from this cafe. The food overall was just average. Scrambled eggs overcooked, pattie sausage just ok, and the potatoes not much. The blueberry pancake was the best! And, better than that was the service, A++. A very efficient working staff from the hostess desk to checking out.

Loved the corn beef hash, family loved the kids burrito, the blueberry pancake and the “patty” omelette.

The place is located in the main part of Bar Harbor off mount desert street.

The espresso was ok, not great, but still 5 stars overall. The rest of the food and service deserve the 5 stars. 😀

My wife and I loved this place. Its situated in a quite spot tucked behind the Acadia Hotel. Breakfast was amazing (suggest the blueberry pancakes!). We wanted to try different breakfast spots while staying in town but ended up eating at Cafe This Way both mornings. Staff was friendly, clean space, decent prices and those blueberry pancakes!
