This coffee shop has quickly become my local favorite since it has opened. The owner and workers have all been very kind and friendly.
My wife and I are currently both addicted to the iced coffee and latte's.
The seating area offers plenty of electrical outlets to allow for laptop power if needed.
There's also outdoor seating in the back as well as a big yard.
Pro Tip: put your name down on the waiting list (or use the NoWait app) at Ruby slipper and walk down here to get coffee and A/C while you wait. It's a match made in heaven!!

Very good pour-over coffee and pastry (choc. croissant). Breakfast burrito was just okay. Nice ambiance. Staff was attentive, if a bit aloof. Definitely worth a look.

Great coffee and cute cats outside!

I own Coffee Science. I am giving the 5 star review to all of our customers. Y'all are the nicest people anyone could have as patrons. I am honored that you come and see us when you need a coffee. I want you all to know that I built Coffee Science for you and I hope to see you all for many years to come.

Not only is the COFFEE so perfectly fantastic but this spot fills my void of the lack of good bagels in this town! As an East coast transplant this is nothings shy of a life necessity. Shall I mention that the staff is incredibly friendly and professional...? Because when you have a spot consisting of caffeine with "science" as part of their nominated title I expect nothing less than magik... That said, these guys may as well be the local shamans of coffee I this town! BRAVO BRAVO!

It's about time NOLA got a coffee shop that actually cares about innovating new brews. The whole crew at Coffee Science is professional and helpful when it comes to ordering. Their retro futuristic design brings much needed freshness to the NOLA coffee scene. Screw the chains, Coffee Science is one you should not sleep on. If you do, just grab some coffee from em, you'll see.

Coffee Science has an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Tom and his his staff create consistently great espresso drinks and their drip/ brew coffee is better than the pour overs In the mid city area.

The coffee served is from local roasteries.
Often crowded with college age study groups in the afternoon hours. They have a small food menu that I have yet to sample and a selection of snack items as well.
The banana bread was delicious!
Be wary, however, a refill on your coffee may cost anywhere from $1-3, depending on who is working.

Serves one of the best coffee drinks in NOLA. Spacious, pretty original, absolutely comfortable. Friendly, albeit a bit slow in the mornings, baristas. Prices are not low.

Coffee Science, what a treat. For full disclosure, I'm currently writing this review at Coffee Science while listening to a podcast with my noise-canceling headphones. A common sight here. I have other work I should be doing, but more times than not, procrastinating becomes the priority. The atmosphere here is relaxing and calming because of the plentiful indoor and outdoor seating options and windows that bring in just the right amount of natural light. My innate Millennial anxieties are lessened by the details mentioned before and the non wobbly tables. To provide structure in my life, I usually order the same thing: an Iced Latte. This takes the stress out of choosing another item from their expansive food and drink menu. On the topic of coffee, they take their products seriously. More times than not, they will redo an espresso shot if the pull (time of extraction) isn't perfect. Coffee Science's baristas care about their craft. I appreciate the small conversations while your coffee is prepared. What else can you ask for? The only drawback is parking. Not only is the adjacent parking lot cozy, but I'm pretty sure that the parking ticket lady would have a field day. Hopefully, she gets a cafe au lait while she's here.
