This unassuming coffee shop off of Broad is deceptively huge. I visited on Easter(!), a holiday, and they were open and serving delicious food and coffee. I had the seasonal punktart, strawberry rose, and the Honey Badger iced coffee. Both are delicious, though the honey badger is true to its name just a sweet and tasty drink (not for those who want something with a bit more bite from the espresso). The indoor and outdoor seating areas are well maintained and cute with a huge tree and a variety of tables for customers. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to the Big Easy. They have a pair of cats that hang out in the back garden named Toby (a very friendly orange tabby) and Stacy (a shy tuxedo cat).

Serious coffee folks, here. Make specialty coffee accessible to everyone, an elevate mixed coffee drinks to new heights.
Beautiful space, inside and out. Lots of seating. Mixed drinks that almost NO coffee houses have. Roasts on site and has bottled drinks for carryout. Also local veggies, fruits and prepared food items. This shop is can't miss!

Venetian crème is amazing, like a Vietnamese iced coffee but with oat milk and coconut and perhaps some spiciness thrown in. Love it! So many interesting espresso options as well. Breakfast sandwiches seem very popular, every single person in line before me had one. Looks like there are breakfast burritos but I think sold out already by 11. Huge and spacious, efficient and welcoming service.

Nice shop, the pour over I had was good, but they took forever to make it. My wife's latte was super sweet even though she asked for half sweet. As far as preference goes, not ideal for her.

This place is a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this spot when the coffee shop by my hotel had apparently adjusted hours and was closed when I walked up. I was hesitant at first because the neighborhood looked rough, but it only adds to the character of the place.

Symone at the front counter is fabulous and such a delight to be around! She is very mindful about making my coffee correctly, and treats all customers as if she’s always known them.

This is definitely my top coffee place in the city and I recommend that others put this at the top of their list as well!

Tons of outdoor and indoor space. Was hoping to do some work here but there is no wi-fi. The coffee is delicious.

I can't review the coffee because my husband ordered coffee. He did say that it was good, though.
I ordered a vegan peach muffin and a breakfast wrap that had potatoes, eggs, bacon, and cheese. The wrap was super hot and tasty.
The peach muffin was the star, though. I didn't eat my muffin until the next morning (maybe 24 hours later), and that was after a five hour drive to Houston and after it sitting in the bag on the kitchen counter overnight. I warmed in the microwave and ate it with my hot tea.
It was so good that I'm thinking about it at 8:26 AM almost two days later. I love peaches and had never had a peach muffin. Peach cobbler, yes, peaches and cream, yes, peach pie, yes, and even Peach Schnapps, but NOT a peach muffin. That muffin was so damn tasty, y'all. We had never visited this spot before, but I promise, I'll definitely be back when I'm home for a visit, but I'll have to purchase several of them.
Btw, the service was excellent. Everyone was nice, and the place had a cool vibe. I would've loved to sit there with my hubby, read the Gambit, and eat and chat with him.

The people that work @ Coffee Science are awesome. Cold brew and breakfast burritos also very good. I go here every day and my bank account has created a spending category "Familiar Store - Coffee Science". Wouldn't have it any other way.

I REALLY want to like this coffee shop more, but every time I go, the drinks I get are kind of off and the food I’ve gotten is expensive and not super great. And for the price you pay, it really sucks when you paid for something that didn’t taste good. The one drink I love from here is seasonal, so I guess I just gotta stick to only going the one time a year when it’s available. All the other drinks Ive gotten taste way too chocolatey or sugary with no espresso or coffee taste. Also - not sure if this has changed, but they don’t have wifi. Not sure of the reason why, but it’s a little odd to me, especially when they have such a nice space to sit in.

The baked goods are quite good and the coffee is exceptionally good. The staff is very cold. You will not find a smile in this place. Don’t come here for friendliness but rather for coffee and basic eats. Also, the punktart was apple and cinnamon, is that punk?
