Just moved to the West Bank and was looking for a regular breakfast spot. I was so pleased with both the quality, portion sizes, and low prices of their menu. When you want true home cooking with pleasant and fast service check this place out!

Sat outside on the patio for legit over 2 hours. Waitress came and checked on other people but we never got greeted nor offered a water even. Nothing!
So we just sat there and talked until the place closed down just to see how long it would take someone to check on us.
Nope they never checked on us except to ask us to move so they could pick their tables up for the night since they were closing up.

I really enjoyed this place, I got the Chicken Caesar salad and it was fresh and very good then for dessert I got the chocolate cake and cappuccino which were both very good together. Only thing I'd complain about is the size of the salad for the price, it was way to small. Other then that great place great food

The restaurant is quaint. The food was good. However the noise level was so high we could not here each other over the din. The noise was caused by the busboy who constantly banged dishes and flatware around. Unfortunately this was the main cause of my less than Sterling review.

This is a great spot for a traditional diner type breakfast. It's nothing fancy, but it's inexpensive and it's in a super convenient spot if you're in Algiers or Gretna. Lunch options are great too. Large portions for what, I'd say, is way cheaper than other options close by.

After sitting for literally 20 minutes without even so much as a "hello". I ordered from the counter and returned to my table.
About 20 minutes later, my sandwich arrives. and here we are an hour and five minutes later and nothing. No "how is everything?". No "would you like a drink refill?". Not even "Here is your bill."
Food was good though.
Would it be inaccurate for me to assume that due the lack of service this meal was comped? Because I still haven't been checked on. Still; 40 minutes now after the initial "plopping of the plate".

Usual diner fare. Would have been great except ordered breakfast sandwich on French. Got it but bread hard as rock, if stale wasn't even put in microwave. Waitress was great with service - but chef ???

So my daughter ordered take out Mind you I have never had a bad experience here(one of my favorite places actually) but I went and talked to the owner because I have known her not personally but in a professional manner However their are always two sides to the story not satisfied with what she told me I called her back once we got home because my husband and I pride ourself on repect especially from my children Long story short my daughter was the customer and she should have not been treated and told how much product you wasted because she asked for her drink to be remade. Needless to say I wanted to keep it classy and I refuse to get into a heated argument about a cup and some tea. My family and I now have to find another favorite place because we will never go back there Who touches a straw that the customer drinks out of to stir the tea? Unsanitary and unsatisfactory service If the tables were turned you would have felt the same way and If I were an owner I woruld have fixed the situation With a smile and oh you lied on my child and said she came And demanded you make her another drink thats why I called you to confirm that she was not disrespectful once we got home because it wasn't sitting right with me but I can tell you treated her baD bc she was almost and tears and when I came in their your demeanor was subpar Ughhh this has me sooo angry You lost a faithful customer..... After all of this I still didn't yell get disrespectful or treat you bad take lessons
