Food is always good here, reasonably priced, and service was pretty good considering the fact that only one person was working the floor. My only complaint is that my coffee was served in a very dirty mug. When I asked for a fresh cup, this one, too, was dirty. (wish I had taken photos of the mugs). Will request my coffee in a go cup in the future.

This is one of those places the locals go. My husband and I have eaten here for breakfast around a half dozen times. Service is always quick and attentive. The food is always good. On Saturday morning there is a farmer's market right outside the door, and I love being able to walk out and stroll through the market. There is outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome on the patio :)

I can say after years of really liking the food but not the service!! We are Done! To walk in and not be acknowledged and then the server play the race card. Remember our money spends every where! And the owner didn't say a word.

Staff was very friendly. But my eggs were over cooked and the hash browns tasted old. Eggs Benedict was fabulous, and their croissants were big and tasted good but not very fluffy.
UPDATE: 2nd visit: Today the food was great, hash browns and all. Crystal was so friendly as was the other staff members.

This place has the cheapest best breakfast you can find in the New Orleans metro area. You literally can’t beat the price & the food is very good and the service is too. It has a real diner feel to it with the bar seating which is hard to find in this part of the United States.

I used to go here a lot, but the breakfast has gone down hill. The prices are very fair, but not as good as it used to be. Dry eggs, breakfast must have been siting because the grits didn't even melt the butter, horrible coffee. Just went back...won't be back for a long time again. The donut shop has a better breakfast. 2 stars because the waitress (I think a daughter of owner) is so cute and friendly.
