Heine Brothers Coffee - Hikes Point

Holy House Blend Batman! This location has expansive vibes, great WiFi, amazing staff and as Heine continues to embrace lighter roast, with their longest house blend I am drawn in.

This location is one most spacious I've been in. Love the work spaces and the many tables for groups. Has a good number of electric outlets for customers, too - very important detail! My current fave drink - turmeric chai with coconut milk.

I would live here if I could. All the employees are wonderful beautiful people (the woman with the traveler tattoo is my favorite, she's so kind and sweet!) and their coffee is always great.

Very nice location however, it may help if your establishment required employees to wear gloves. I was there yesterday and the young man who served me my muffin and coffee in the drive-thru had the dirtiest fingernails. That is so unsanitary working in the food industry!

Barista running the lobby register right now is ride, slow, unhelpful and the rest of the refused to step in and help. They just stood there watching me wait. All that I ordered was hot tea and a scone, she kept just purposely saying"it takes a minute." I will not be returning to this location, no wonder the lobby is empty. 🙄

I don't mind paying extra for another cup, but they only give you .15c off if you bring your own cup, but .50c extra if you need a second cup.

I bought a large cup of coffee and asked for an extra cup, and was charged 50 extra, I told them Starbucks does not charge for an extra cup and none of the other Heine Brothers location or employees charged that, she said she was the manager, and they were doing it wrong. I usually leave a 2.00 tip, one in the tip jar, and one on the receipt, I left the receipt and saved .50 actually. (7:15 pm May 13, 2017 Hikes Point Store Total $3:45 plus a 1.00 tip I paid in advance.)

This location has become my favorite coffee shop in Louisville. The place is always clean and large enough to be able to gather with a group for a great cup of coffee (or specialty drink). Located in the busiest part of Hikes Point, it is a great place just to take a break..

Clean, fast service, and a great little spot to do some work.

I want to love Henie Brothers because they are a local business but I just dont love their coffee. It's a taste thing. The coffee is bitter for my palette. I like my coffee black and so I really need to love it without doctoring it up with milk or sugar.
