Was finally able to eat here. Been looking forward to it and heard raves about this restaurant but the actual experience was not what I was expecting. Waited an hour for seating. Drove 80 miles just to eat here today. That's fine if it were worth waiting an hour for or driving that far.
The waitress & staff was very good by the way.
Had the buffet. The food was hot. The rolls were excellent as well as the cole slaw and soft ice cream. However the rest of the buffet was not as good as I would have thought. The apples were absolutely awful. The peach cobbler was mushy and tasted terrible. Tried the roast which was over cooked and tasted like corned beef hash. Not appetizing at all.
My friend that brought me said this restaurant was amazing but he was not impressed at all this time around. He said the quality was definitely not the same.

I liked the fried breaded catfish better than grilled. I wish they served breakfast on other days other than just Saturdays.

Went for lunch, reasonably priced. Home cooking food included catfish, chicken fingers, ham and a few vegetables on the buffet. It was okay, but not many selections for a buffet.

Went for the first time last week and again this week. Wonderful down home cooking buffet. Over an hour one way for us to get there but worth the drive. We will go back!

Almost hit "doesn't recommend" only due to the front lobby kids working in there this evening. Me and my nephew went to look in the shop after eating and the girls up front loudly said "there smelling everything" while we were testing scents candles . Then another girl was walking super fast with a broom going over and over the same spots and almost ran me over twice. Decided to go to the back to get away from her and look around but what do you know, she instantly followed us. Hmm. But yea rude kids. The food is the best around hands down. So id definitely recommend.

Drove 2 hours as the restaurant was advertised as being an Amish buffet, so it had to be good. Well it is not an Amish restaurant. The chicken was overly dry. They did not have much of a variety of food. The buffet bars were filthy. I will not go back.
