It's a 50 minute drive from north Garrard County but well worth it. Friday's lunch buffet was $10 + the drink. Nice salad bar, nice main buffet, deserts and soup. A good size gift shop as well.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic! Be sure to get a cinnamon roll on a plate with a ring of ice cream around it! (If you're lucky the cinnamon roll pan will have room for you to rub the roll around and pick up some extra sugary goodness, too!) Can't beat dessert at breakfast, right?!?!

The bread rolls are al.ost as big as a plate! The meatloaf was great! Peach cobbler was awesome!

Food wasnā€™t as good as usual then a child coughed all over the buffet told our waitress Keonah and she didnā€™t try to have it cleaned or anything

The food is very good. One of the few buffets left in business. Fridays and Saturdays are the worst days to eat there. The buffet offers fish and seafood for dinner on those days and I feel that most people visit for that reason. It's a shame to say that customers will watch for the fish to come out of the kitchen and flock to the buffet to fill their plates to the point that it's falling off the plate. At that point, everyone else waiting to get a piece are left with nothing. I don't think I have ever seen such a display of adolescent behavior in adult men anywhere else. It is a very loud place to sit and eat, especially if you are seated in the back area. It is so loud that you have to raise your voice considerably just to be heard by others in your party. I appreciate the fact that they bring people in to sing and play music to create a nice atmosphere, but it is more of a nuisance than anything. It's hard enough to hear without the addition of live music. That being said, the past three times we have eaten there, we have found hair in our food. I actually had a long brown hair baked into a roll on one particular visit. I understand that things like that do happen and I can overlook it unless it is an ongoing issue. Three visits in a row tells me that there is a problem with hair nets not being worn or just out right carelessness. We have thoroughly enjoyed Bread of Life. The cause that it supports is a blessing to many, but I don't think we will be returning to eat there again.
