Best home cooked food in the area. The cornbread and chicken and dumplings are as good as mine, and I've been making them for almost 40 years.

Not being a fan of buffets we ordered from the menu after a 30 minute wait at the front and then another 15 minutes at the table.
Another long wait and the food was served. Not plated, just served with no care or interest at all.
The food was at best mediocre. A dark brown, skinned baked potato wrapped in foil, fried zucchini sticks, and 7 shrimp (which lacked flavor), for me. My husband had the loaded baked potato, a med/rare ribeye steak (which he said was “OK”), and the zucchini sticks. Both meals included a yeast roll (which was delicious).
The three butter pads and two sour cream packets were barely enough for the potatoes, let alone the rolls.
Our poor server seemed lost as she had too many large tables and us. She had difficulty remembering requested items, however she kept our teas full.
Then there was the constant churning of people rushing past our table to the buffet, over and again. I surmised that the buffet must have been more appealing than our menu dinners due to the continual rush of people to get at the food.
When leaving and attempting to pay, the register ran out of receipt tape. So we waited patiently while the congenial young man loaded new tape. I let him know that we were disappointed with our meals; he apologized, but made no attempt to call for a manager.
All in all it was a rather unpleasant experience which we won’t be repeating. There are too many very good restaurants that we are able to visit, and will.

My wife’s coworker told her how great this restaurant was, so we made the hour pilgrimage.

The place is super clean and we arrived at noon on a Saturday. A wait time off about fifteen minutes and so we browsed the store.

We were sat at our table and we noticed that as busy as they were, everything was clean like they had just opened the doors.

Our waitress was nice, but curt, which we understood as busy as they were. We both got the buffet.

All the food was fresh, but my favorite thing is that it didn’t taste like it had been dragged through some salt mine. For $10.99, the buffet is hard to beat.

That said, even though the food was fresh and tasted good, the flavor was very subdued. That is just a personal taste thing.

Summary: Clean. Fresh. Friendly. Good food. Good price.

Great little hidden gem. Small but nice buffet. Wait staff are very friendly. With a little store to walk off the food. Even have truck parking.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, I absolutely love all the Decor around. My husband walked in and saw this and told me I needed to get it. She already has her place at our house.

If I could give this place a 10-star I would! My hubby and I went for breakfast this morning which is from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday to 10:00 a.m. and it was absolutely delicious even had chocolate gravy on the buffet. We've been to this place several times first time though for breakfast, and never have been disappointed! Good food, good service, good atmosphere!

It's okay. Definitely need to go once. Just don't know if it would be worth a trip just to eat here.

Great buffet. Went on Friday night, seafood, catfish, fried chicken and braised pork.
