Love the chicken salad!! Yum! Juli's has a cozy vibe that is perfect for a lunch meeting or study session. The beautiful southern facing windows, cheerful staff, and tasty food are worth the trip downtown. Parking is free and usually available within a block of the Cafe.

Sandwich (Cuban) was decent, potato salad was good....coffee tasted burnt and cup was only about 3/4 full, it was like they emptied the last of the pot. Other than that ....good service , friendly staff. I didn't complain about the coffee sooo that's on me.

This place IS SPECIAL. A bunch of us went there a dozen times because we could walk easily from Shawnee Dist Court. It reminded several of the great sandwich coffee places in New Zealand. I hope to get back there again even if when no court is required

This place is by far the #1 coffee shop in Topeka. Not only coffee the food is by far is great as well. Food is made to order not made and kept warm until it is ordered. Owner and staff are very passionate about their craft and it shows. LOVE THIS PLACE.! Thanks for the freshness and the passion.

My husband works hard.for the city.of Topeka and stopped.in to grab lunch for us. He was treated like he was an inconvenience by the actual owner & staff member. The owner was stuck up and treated her paying customer very rude. Besides that, the price is outrageous and the food was not good. We paid $23 for 2 tacos with NO SIDES and NO DRINK. It was just two tacos and they were thrown together and tasted bad and nothing like a taco should taste. We will never eat here again. My husbands boss, who has worked for the city of Topeka for 20+ years also had a very bad experience and said the staff was so rude and stuck up and he will never go back either.
Very disappointed with this business, their food, their outrageous price, the staff, and
the owner. All around big thumbs down!!

EDIT. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE:

May I suggest that you humble yourself. As much as I wish you had a genuine response and a genuine desire to hear feedback about your company and make your customers happy, I believe that your response.to my review was nothing more than your ego screaming outloud. Your ego may be your worst enemy. The beginning of your realonse is laughable. Im glad I could be your reminder that you have not reached perfection. May I add that although you may have received hundreds of positive reviews, you still had a customer walking away from your business with a very bad experience and a small town like Topeka, the word can spread very fast im not here to knock you off your high horse but I am here to remind you that your in the people business and your attitude about this feedback has shown no accountability for the bad experience we had and shows that you clearly feel like you have no room for improvement.
Your breakdown of receipt does not change the fact that the lrice is outrageous and the quality of the food was poor. I guess I can edit my statement stating there were no sides included. Instead I will say that the chooces.of sides are disappointing and portions are extremely small. One of those few choices is a banana. I just cant wrap my head around spending that type of money ever again for the food we received. No drinks included in that price either.
I could go on about the bad parking and that the employees park in the very little parking for the customers. (The 2 hour parking in front of the building)
But its clear that your too close to perfection to find any room for improvement.
The last thing I will respond about... Im not sure what your sarcastic remark about "we all look the same" is meaning but it was uncalled for. Im pretty sure the owner is the only one who has a "special" parking space. It may have been the catering manager who was one of the staff being stuck up and rude but it wasnt JUST the catering manager. Let me be clear about that.

Absolutely delicious. Beats the chain coffee by a million miles any day and the food is stellar. Not cheap - but worth the cost if you want something special.
