Juli's Coffee and Bistro

Coffee is decent--iced coffee is served cold though I wonder if it's brewed hot and then chilled (which, lol, THIS customer obviously doesn't prefer, or coconut flavored anything as a suggested alternative), but this is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast sandwich spot in Topeka.

A girl took my order and I have dietary restrictions and so it was detailed. She was very rude and not accommodating. I worked most of my life in customer service and decided to tell a manager about my experience. I told a manager and considered it done. When I came in again the following week both the girl and manager were snickering and it was very apparent she had told the girl about my feedback and who I was. I felt completely unwelcome (and this was my favorite coffee shop in Topeka). So, I asked to speak to the owner (again... I would want to know if my employees were unprofessional) Erin (owner) was even more rude. She said she always had good reviews about her employees and said “what do you want me to do about it?” (And not in a nice way). I explained to her fully that I was just trying to let her know that as a customer I felt like I was unwelcome. She continued to not apologized but, act like I had interrupted something she was doing that was far more important than me.

Needless to say I was a regular and will never go there again. I feel that every customer is important and I never would have treated a customer like that.

The food was SO GOOD and really reasonably priced! The server took exceptional care of us. They also have a patio in the back so I got to bring my fur baby. Exactly the perfect spot to stop for a roadtrip breakfast.

Friendly staff and good food. The chai tea is delicious with lots of milk options. Only one Vegetarian sandwich option but it was very good.

Barista was super knowledgeable and friendly. Knew about the current espresso bean and had a good recommendation of how to drink it. Location was clean and beautiful. Quirky and eclectic in a really sweet way. Look forward to coming again.

Very good but you might be surprised by the breakfast panini. It is really just a toasted bread sandwich. Good, but not grilled like a panini.

The atmosphere is perfect for downtown. I don't know what it was before but there is an old safe in a corner. It really has a bistro feel to it. Comfortable and relaxed.

Had a yummy 1/2 almond milk, 1/2 coconut milk latte and a delicious breakfast biscuit at this great local downtown place today. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

I have frequented Juli's for over 7 years or so, with the advent of one of their signature breakfasts: Train Wreck!

It's clean, friendly and has a wide array of choices from on the menu—the specials of the day have always been tasty.

The folks that work there have always been gracious, welcoming and appreciative of my partronage.

The stylized designs on the wall of classic memorabilia and art, adding to the downtown image. Even the restrooms have a sense of style and resonate with the entire atmosphere.

Whether you're going for a cup of coffee first thing in the morning or a lunch by yourself, there's plenty of room to have your personal get together or hold up on a table in a corner.

The place is becoming a staple here Downtown since they've moved, and I hope you'll give it a try. As of this writing, there are no parking fees.

I got the 66 Twister (delicious) and the Boss. Turkey and avocado with a sensational sauce on a bun to brag about. The indoor eating area was comfortable and easy to relax in. I'll be going again!

Delicious coffee and food. The employees were so kind and welcoming. I do wish there were more vegetarian options, but besides that I would definitely recommend this place!
