Oh the clean place with real flowers
They had amazing servers who were friendly and welcoming. Althought the place needed good smell, there are more pros than cons.
I had 1 cocktail for $5 on a an happy hour till 5pm.
Highly recommended

Pasta was slightly overcooked but not bad. The meatballs in my dish where under seasoned but still had good texture and where moist. The bar didn't have beers on the menu because they where cycling their beers out. What does that even mean lol. They also lacked standard liquors after telling us they could make any standard drink. The atmosphere is nice though and I would consider going again if I can't find any better Italian.

We went here the other night for dinner and it was a great experience! Our waitress was so good with our kids! When my eldest told her that she loved doing the mazes on the kids menu, she went our of her way to print her up 3 more mazes to do! She can also be kind of picky like many toddlers are, but everything on the kids menu was something she'd enjoy! All the portions were generous sizes and everything was delicious. The staff was all friendly and the food didn't take long to come out. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Ordered take out over the phone. Hostess was very sweet. The food however, i was not impressed with. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The noodles were undercooked, the sauce was not very creamy, and it had very little flavor. Bland. Maybe because i ordered take out, not sure.

This was my first time checking out this restaurant and I have no complaints! I sat at the bar to eat, and drink. I got a cocktail, The Godfather, which was good; just not my style, but then I just pulled the trigger on it to try something new! The calamari and Cajun Penne were exactly what you want! Neither dish was lacking NOR overboard... again, when you want calamari and Cajun Penne, that's what you get! 👍🏽👍🏽

A friend of mine and I dined at Basil Leaf and we had amazing service, both of our meals were excellent. The flavors were wonderful, the food was hot, and the cold bruschetta was amazing. My friend had the cheese tortellini cordon bleu, and I had the Cajon panini. Both were bursting with flavor. Honestly you could split a meal with somebody because we both took half of ours home with us.

The ambiance was cozy and our waitress Rachel was nice and professional. We had the bruschetta and Mac and cheese as an appetizer. Both were delicious. We were here for lunch and so our main course was the Lemon Chicken Tenders, the Veggie Panini, and the Basil Chicken Cavatelli. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The only part of the meal that was a little disappointing was the risotto that came with the chicken tenders. It was very thick and pasty. We did have a double chocolate cake cheesecake which was yummy.

I had a great time celebrating my first anniversary at the Basil Leaf. The environment is cozy and relaxed. The food is great. I did have to hear of the drink specials from the waitress serving the table beside us, but that is ok. All in all, it was a great experience

I had high hopes for Basil Leaf but it was inedible to me. Yes...that bad. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, Salmon and Calamari. The Calamari was pretty cold but worse than that the breading was NOT crisp or crunchy and it was most definitely stale!!! Cold weather doesn't make food/breading stale it just makes it cold. The Fettuccine Alfredo was as inauthentic as Italian food gets. The Alfredo Sauce tasted right out of a Bertolli jar. The Fettuccine noodles were clumped up telling me the chef left the noodles in non boiling water too long. The Salmon was seasoned decently but was extremely dry. Basil Leaf was a complete let down to me. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Prices have gone up since it moved from it's old location as well as menu changes. Taste is still good.
