Trails Café

Went out of the way to eat there. Checked web said they were open pulled in to parking lot Nice red Open sign.
Got grandson out in the rain walked in 10:05 Lady says we quit serving breakfast at 10am and don't serve again until 11. Won't be stopping in Holton again.

This is a very nice, family friendly dining experience! All of the wait staff here will take care of you with a smile. If you like to have adult beverages while watching the game, or NASCAR live, then this is the place to go! Lots of daily specials!

I eat at trails in semi regularly, the state is great and they work hard to update the place and keep it modern. Always clean.
It's pretty relaxed and you can certainly come in work clothes.
More or less it serves normal American food.

The staff are very nice and good at what they do. The food is good too. Only loses a star because.

We had a very inattentive waitress. She was not friendly, not suggestive...just acted like we were bothering her. Had to ask for water and refills. Her service reflected her tip. The food was very good. Too bad the waitress didnt say anything about desert. Im sorry this also... there were maybe 6 people there. We had to wait and wait for our drinks also.

enjoying some of the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time tonight. perfect !!
oh and Ruben sandwiches even better than the casino used to be ☺

My Dad has been going here for years so I decided to take him and the food was excellent was homemade just like my grandma used to make. You have to try the Pie's best ever.

Food and definitely pie was amazing. Love trying home town Cafe s. This is a gem.

Great food. The price was a bit high but for home cooking it was well worth it. Very nice wait staff. Homey feeling atmosphere.

The food was great as always! Very nice staff! I would suggest sitting in one of the front rooms though. It seemed very difficult to control the temperature in the back room and the wait staff stays in the main dining spaces.
