Always friendly greeters. Service is fast and drinks are refilled often. Salad bar is clean and well stocked. Strawberry Ruebarb pie is delicious.

We both had ‘senior’ chicken fried steak. Perfect! The fries are delicious, green beans seasoned perfectly, steak very tender. We tried both cream & brown gravy. Both were great. The generous portions were more than we could eat.
The place was immaculate & decorations really nice. Staff helpful & friendly. Price more than reasonable. We will be back. (We need to try the desserts that looked so tempting but we had no room left.)

Stoped on our route, was a little worried as there were no cars but I’m so glad we stopped. The portions were generous and the meal was delicious! Salad bar had some potato salad that appeared to be homemade and was amazing. 100 percent recommend this place!

We were traveling and after a long day we stopped to eat at this local, small town diner. We thought it looked appealing and we loved the country look... but the tables were strange. They were some type of barn board and tops were not very level (no biggie) but the gaps has lots of white or clear silicone in them which looked really goofy... (no big deal). However, the finish on the tables was very sticky and that bugged us as we sat there.
Salad bar was good, waitress was not friendly, and she didn’t write things down when we ordered and I thought “oh one of those servers that can remember everything” ... well no she can’t. Wasn’t like we ordered.
I had grilled chicken which literally looked like they cut the chicken breast in half or maybe even quartered. It was thin and therefore it was over cooked and the texture reminded me of the leather soles on some old wingtip shoes I used to have.
The white gravy was horrible it tasted kind of like plaster of Paris but wife said her taco salad was ok.
On the upside no mask was required. If you like a decent salad bar give it a try but this place would be WAY BETTER if the servers acted like you were there. And if the chicken breasts weren’t small and thin and overcooked. And if the gravy was real or at least the good kind from sams club

Friendly quick server. Had the tenderloin sandwich and it was tender and delicious. My husband and I split one so we'd have room for pie. We chose gooseberry pie and it was delicious with tender flakey crust. We shared that too and felt stuffed when we left. Their iced tea was perfect too! Highly recommend this restuarant!

Great food, the service was not great last night. Long waits for refills and simple things like napkins, had to ask the young man who was serving another table for napkins and he was on top of it. Our ticket was never brought to our table. I had a 90 minute drive ahead of me, so waiting ans finally just going to the register was ridiculous. Let's do better.
