On the way to Omaha, we stopped in for a good Southern meal. I had the fried catfish with a salad. Let me tell you that the one large cat fish is well more than enough....very good

I love it there! Great customer service and amazing food! I definitely recommend the Country Skillet from their breakfast menu! Top notch!

Excellent locally owned restaurant. Everything we have tried has been good. Great fried chicken and country fried steak. You have to try one of their made from scratch desserts.

Presenation was appetizing and plentiful..but my ham and toast were luke warm at best as were the hashbrowns in the middle.. very little butter on toast..coffee was luke warm and when we asked about it she told us the pot had been on warmer and walked away.. so a cup and a refill of coffee is all we got Great atmosphere... try it if u haven't.. as this could have just been a fluke for us

My wife and I had one of the most disappointing meals here. First we were seated across from the kitchen and cash register - in an otherwise nearly empty restaurant. The waitress was ‘snippy’ at her best, for instance when I ordered the sirloin, she ask if I wanted the 6 or 10 ounce, when I asked for the larger she stated, “We’re out of that.’ The same thing when we attempted to order dessert, a disrespectful ‘we’re out of that. When we got our meals, my wife’s sirloin was 50% grisly and fat. The waitress’ Response was , ‘that’s yukkie’. At the cash register, the manager initially looked like she was going to do something but then just charged us full price. Essentially, this was the Holton of my youth - full cliques and people ‘full of themselves’.

I am from Atlanta Georgia and I didn't expect to eat such tasteful food. The atmosphere and staff were boundless. My only regret is that I live too far away to enjoy every day.

You know the food's good when they have a waiting line outside my wife had the chicken-fried steak and I had bone-in catfish with onion rings best darn onion rings and catfish I've had since I was a little boy all homemade my wife says she could cut the chicken fried steak with her fork was delicious nice salad bar very good the service was great and very friendly we went there after church from Topeka we had to wait a while but well worth the wait I just wish I had more room for some pie homemade pie will be back again I think I'll start out with with dessert like their sign said
