Caribou Coffee

When they mess up your order they won’t fix the problem. Caribou is too expensive for them not to own up to their mistakes. Very disappointed.

People are nice. Food is terrible and overpriced.

Breakfast sandwiches were acceptable and I would get them daily until they changed policy and now are all pre-made and microwaved. Disgusting. Anyone knows you don’t microwave bagels. That’s just lazy business policy translating to a garbage product.

How come in NY you can go into any busy deli and get a freshly made bagel sandwich made to order the way you like it for $6-7, but in Dubuque you get a pre-made sandwich microwaved and overpriced?

Could you slice the bacon any thinner? Now you can’t even ask for extra bacon to make up for this stinginess. Their product is garbage.

I hope this reads loud and clear to the owners. Maybe I’ll try it again in 6 months to see if they changed. I used to see lines in the morning, now I don’t see any lines. Good product= good business.

I always go to Starbucks but heard caribou was good so I thought ok sure I’ll try it. I went the other day in the afternoon about a week ago. I went through the drive through and was the only person in line. So I thought “sweet this will be fast...” so after I ordered my coffee I pulled up. And I cannot lie I waited maybe 5-8 minutes by the window for ( A COFFEE CREAM AND SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I was the only person in line and there was nobody in store because I checked. So I waited and not a single employee opened the window to at least make me pay for my drink. One man was literally next to the window but didn’t want to recognize me or at least say sorry it’s taking a while .... I mean seriously? I shouldn’t have to wait that long for a simple coffee. So I got tired of waiting, that place didn’t deserve my money, so I went to Starbucks, at least the staff there works fast and is always NICE!

And this isn’t the first time , I’ve given you guys 3 chances and it’s been the same story. You need to have a serious staff meeting, there’s are multiple reviews just like this. And your going to lose customers if there aren’t changes.

Love the food/coffee here, but the past couple of times, have been in the drive-thru for way longer than I think I should be. and most of those times, I have been the only one in line. This morning, ordered 2 bagels (not toasted) a smoothie and a Caramel light with 2 extra shots of espresso. Waited for a good 15 minutes, then they brought me some sort of Turtle drink instead...when I asked how long a new drink would take, they said it would be awhile, so I had to just leave.

A nice clean place to get some work done or visit with friends. The coffee is excellent especially the seasonal offering (fall) matched with a delicious soufflé. Personal fav is Mushroom, Spinach, Swiss. 😋

The people are nice but they get busy.

Currently they are only open til noon due to a shortage of workers, but that's not why they are getting 3 stars. This location gets 3 stars because they treat their customers dismissively like they were a burden rather than the very reason they are employed. Why don't you guys close the location 100% until you get a crew that wants to be there rather than just show up to drain the clock.

I waited over 5 minutes before anyone noticed I was standing at the counter (no one going through the drive through either) and the chocolate chip cookie was as hard as a brick.

I love Caribou Coffee. We used to have them around Illinois, but not anymore. Whenever I get the chance (while traveling), I stop to get their coffee. I also enjoy Einstein Bagels, so it was an overall good experience.

Stopped in at 2:00 pm on Monday. Just wanted coffee and a sandwich and a 6 pack of bagels and cream cheese. 4 people in the whole place not 1 employee looked up.I waited 5 minutes and left. That’s the last time! I’m going back to Big Apple Bagels....they’re so nice!!!!

I recommend the nitro cold brew latte! Smooth and delicious!
