I ordered the rose lemonade and it was super refreshing! My boyfriend ordered just a Chai, and it was really good too. We both sipped each other's drinks a few times. Definitely going back!

Nice environment but a little confusing. Price ok but the original cake i ordered was moldy so I chose another one. There wasn’t any other that i really wanted and i chose the pumpkin. It was supposed to have a cheesy cream on top but I couldn’t eat it cause it tasted as pure sugar. No one said sorry or apologized about the moldy cake. I had a cappuccino and it was fine.

Good atmosphere, great baristas, good coffee, but no wifi

Gorgeous coffee! Served in a Styrofoam cup? yuck! Seriously?! Styrofoam leaches chemicals into your coffee and iis bad for the environment.
This is why no respecting coffee place uses Styrofoam and they use paper cups. Get with it Zanzibar.

Beautiful, quaint, little coffee bar. Though the options for food are limited, what they have is delicious. As a coffee lover, I can honestly say that my carmel capp was one of the best I've had in a long while. Zanzibar's has a cozy atmosphere, friendly baristas, and when we were there, there was extravagant artwork by local Iowa artist Amy O'Brien. Honestly, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cozy space is not necessarily equipped for folks with infants (which we are). Our stroller was particularly difficult to navigate inside, but I would definitely still recommend this adorable cafe to anyone looking for a yummy breakfast or anyone that simply needs a coffee break!

This coffee shop looks the part, they were fresh roasting coffee when we went in. The coffee itself however was really disappointing. I ordered a latte, it came nuclear hot, it burnt my tongue and wasn't drinkable for half an hour. The latte also had a bad milk to espresso ratio and basically tasted like a cup of hot milk. These were not indications of bad coffee but of terrible barista training and practice. Coffee drinks should not be served at nuclear temps because our tongues taste less flavor the hotter the food/drink. Maybe the coffee itself is good, but the way it's served no one would know.

Bought a bag of the Holiday Blend and have been really enjoying it. However, there was quite a large rock in with the beans that I didn't catch and it caused enough damage to my grinder I'll likely have to replace it.

Great coffee and food. Very attentive and prompt staff. No WiFi, which can help when you need to study. They have a coffee bar. No free refills on coffee, but they are pretty cheap, around $1 for a 12 oz I believe.
