Great small town spot for Sunday morning breakfast!

Unfriendly staff....no personal interaction
Couldn't explain what the "special sauce" was even though they claimed to make it themselves.
Waitress didn't really talk to us or make sure food was good, and it wasn't.
Asked to have sause for my sandwich on the side.... They put it on the sanwhich. Didn't make a difference... Couldn't taste the sause anyway.
Then when we were finished she gave us more attention, like she was rushing us out.

We were very disappointed I
All the way around. Will never return.

Historic building with well-managed contemporary Cafe operation. Have never gone wrong ordering the daily special. Includes high-quality Museum exhibits of historic operations. Sunday morning all-you-can-eat brunch and other times order off well done Cafe menu.

Stopped by on a whim one Sunday morning on the way home from Ames. WOW a cool place with one very neat history. Not to mention a breakfast buffet with everything you could expect. Staff was attentive and friendly. We will be going here everytime we are in the area, especially on the bikes with the roadside motel right there.

You will not leave hungry! Best biscuit & gravy around. Fun atmosphere & super reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

Had the Niland burger. It was okay. The service was okay. Pretty much every part of the experience was, "okay". It is important to note that none of it was bad; just that none of it was particularly outstanding. I've heard the pies are good, but I didn't have any.

A very cute, historic little place. Very good food.

Food was great. Had the special Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans, Texas toast. Then had Peanut butter chocolate pie that was awesome!! Give a try great food!!
