Great environment with a very up class feel, food wasn’t super expensive either. It was 12-13 a piece for our meals not including drinks. And the food was enough to fill without being too much. Great place to eat

I went to lunch here with a few co-worker. The wait time was suppose to be 5 minutes, which was not bad considering this is a new restaurant, but we decided to sit at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. They knew some of the people in my party. Everyone I was with enjoyed there food. I had the Roasted Porchetta sandwich which is pork belly and loin with a salsa verde on a chabatta bun. It was delicious. I would go back again.

The Salmon, the pizza and the cauliflower dish were all amazing and tasty. Provision Lot F is one the best restaurants in Ames which you can any type of food for any dietary experience. It’s my favorite place and I highly recommend it.

Very nice place, plenty of parking, roomy inside, room for two lanes of traffic. Darker kind of ambiance, though lots of windows let in natural light. Music was a little loud, but maybe I was under a speaker, they played a variety of music from Willie Nelson, to Billy Holliday...
Theres a combo of tables/chairs and booths available, though the chairs are wicker it was pretty sturdy...
For an appeitizer I ordered the house salad, which came with house made vinigrete, currants, and sunflower seeds, very tasty...
I ordered the Provisions burger, with I believe spinach on top, and carmelized onions on the bottom, covered in cheese, provalone I think... The bun was nice and soft and didnt dissolve in my fingers...
when I thought there was a second night issue with the patties, I asked them to replace the sandwich which they did.
The fried potatoes arent my favorite, but were good, and come topped with a sprinkle of cheese on them... the iced tea was also very tasty... Overall not bad, I'll return! Also they have an onsite bakery too!
My only complaint was the water came to the table in a sealed glass jar, tepid or room temperature, not good, plus not good for bacterial growth if sealed all day... no free wifi, or bike racks... thanks for reading and God Bless You.
*EDIT* tried for a second visit tonight, 7/20/17, waited 45 mins for a table, no go, decided that was a good thing for John, Christine, and crew and try again maybe next week, will call ahead next time. Also maybe they could start offering free Tea or Soda or water for those long waits, maybe benches would work too for a chance to sit down? 😀

Delicious! I came here for a light lunch while my husband had a meeting. The roasted brussel sprouts were so good! I also got a galette for dessert. Both were superb.

The place is nice and staff is friendly. Portions were a little sl for the cost, but rhe presentations was really nice. Mu mai complaint is that it was extremely cold near the outer wall, and food got cold VERY fast because of that. Next, is that the wait was very long, however it was Easter Sunday when I went there. It was my first time there, so I will likely give it another chance.

I was aming for a dive breakfast spot. I missed.
This place is fancy. Great food, great staff. Great atmosphere.
The menu is amazing. Lots of favorites with a unique twist on many items.
The chicken and waffles was served with a very unique syrup. One of my boys had the quiche. Outstanding. The custard was remarkable and the salad quite complimentary. Another son has biscuits and gravy. I've never had anything like it. But simply delicious.
And our server TerryAnn, 3 thumbs up. Awesome energy, personality, and patience (that's necessary when serving our clan).

What a fun place in Ames, IA! The atmosphere was great and the food fabulous. Very eclectic. Great place to take your Iowa state university student for a nice meal.

We really like the food here. We have been coming for awhile. We suggest starting with the daily bread if you come here for dinner. The homemade pasta was fantastic. Their is a wide variety on the menu. Can’t go wrong coming here for any meal. The desserts are phenomenal. We loved the cheesecake. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good too.

We dined at Provisions a few days ago for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff was friendly, the food excellent, and the atmosphere enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
