I have been to Rivet before, about a year ago, and had no issues. Today, it felt cold and I did not feel welcomed. I had my son with me in a stroller and I didn't feel they wanted kids there. To access the ramp to enter the building is nearly impossible. They have no designated area to access it as cars park shoulder to shoulder and a stroller can't fit through. I had to go over the wood edging and in the grass in order to leave. It was ridiculous. I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be for someone in a wheelchair. While they have a ramp, it's definitely not accessible from the road or parking. It's only a matter of time before they receive a DOJ violation. I won't be going back until my kid is no longer needing a stroller. Just didn't feel friendly at all which is disappointing.

I'm relatively new to ordering chai teas, but of the 4 other shops I've tried this one here is THE BEST! Love the spices and sprinkle of cinnamon on top. The egg peso sandwich I had was delicious also! One of these visits I need to try other menu items as they all look delicious when I see others order! The staff is so friendly and the space is phenomenal! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating on a porch with trees and grassy area. Parking is usually along the street, but totally worth the extra few steps!

Perfect setup for meeting up with people, cranking out work, or just grabbing a great coffee to go. Beautiful deck with shaded or sun seating, and indoor seating at tables or bars.

Delicious food and drinks, wonderful staff, and a great atmosphere. Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. I highly recommend trying the avocado toast. I can’t wait to go back!

Wanted to like this place as I hate leaving negative reviews of local places. Mediocre coffee and slow service at a premium price. I read the great reviews and arrived on a Saturday around 10AM with high expectations intent on trying the coffee. First, I was disappointed they don't have multiple sizes, but I asked the barista for a coffee recommendation and she suggested the honey latte (it was named something different). I was looking for something with some coffee flavor and said I wanted something stronger. She assured me that this drink is made with 2 shots of espresso and should be to my liking. After 15 minutes of waiting (for only 2 cups of coffee to go) I get back in line to check on the status of my order. While waiting in line, the barista called out another order. Finally I made it back to the window about 20 minutes after ordering the coffee and asked about my order. The barista figured out that they had put the wrong name on my order and the order they had called out a few minutes ago was mine. After the 20 minute wait I was eager to try the coffee and I was instantly disappointed. It was one of the weakest coffee drinks I've ever had. After the challenge of getting the coffee in the first place I wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made right. I get if the place is busy but if someone is going to be waiting much more than 5 minutes for a coffee you need to set that expectation when the order is placed. Service was polite and friendly but this was a missed opportunity. I would rather spend money local, but this is a place I'd avoid. I really wanted to like this place but they really dropped the ball. I hope your experience here is different if you try it.

The cinnamon maple latte was sweet and became sweeter as I drank. The syrup wasn’t mixed in as I quickly realized it was all at the bottom. The drink became undrinkable. I explained the issue to the barista and asked her to remake it. She seemed annoyed that I had already drank some and wanted her to remake it. She took my drink and topped it off with steam milk. Pretty much had sweet milk at this point. Will take my business elsewhere.
