Chicory Cafe

We usually go there for the Beignets and whatever seasonal coffee they have. Since we were there for a late lunch we tried the Muffuleta and it was fantastic! The bread was warm and fluffy, and since it's so big they have the option of ordering half a sandwich.

Great coffee spot to relax and kick back. Perfect if you're looking get out of the cycle of chain coffee shops. Very unique and NOLA themed. Fast and friendly staff that took time to spell my name to which I was not accustomed to! If you're in the area stop on by for their seasonal menu! I got the chocolate Almond Latte.... OUTSTANDING I SAY!! SIMPLY OUTSTANDING. I'm originally from Louisiana, but I live in California. This is a Top five for me and I'm sure it will be a top five for you!! Oh and there's a huge fleur-de-lis on a wall if you feel like being touristy for Instagram.

The place to go for a good family meal in downtown South Bend

Great food. My first stop when in town. Have not had a bad meal and always recommend it to my students.

This is the Cajun chicken salad. It’s all romaine lettuce and bread and a couple pieces of sausage and hardly any chicken. This place has gone down hill over the last few years.

Such a great place for a nice lunch with an out of town friend or family! Lunch date is a must!!

I need to stop going here, every visit has result in severe diarrhea not long after. Where things are passable and good. It's not worth the severe intestinal issues.

Food always good. But the price i paid for the shrimp 🍤 and grits was crazy $11. Grits are like the cheapest food...I overstand shrimp prices but damn. The grits portion was a deck of cards... maybe a deck of uno card 🤔. But it was tasty. I also order the Flatbread pizza for $10 which was reasonable. I gave the service 3 🌟 because I sat there so long (approx 30mins) I had to inquire about food. Food was just sitting there waiting.

Good food and drink. We came around 10 am for breakfast. Ordered two coffees and an olive salad breakfast sandwich to share. Will definitely be back when downtown.

Great unique cafe style food and coffee. Fun atmosphere for kids and adults. In downtown South Bend. Try the beignets if you are looking for a treat or stop in on Saturday mornings to listen to locals have an instrumental jam session.
