When I walked in I wasn't greeted just stared at, so I spoke and smiled told Maddy ( I asked her name) it was my first time here. The singer was the only positive thing about the place it's sad in 2022 people are still judging. I heard great things but it was not a good experience. They do serve alcohol but my drink had none in it.

The restrooms are nasty & it's difficult to wash your hands because of the small amount of water that comes out.
I got the Mole' Pulled Pork with Sour Cream & Cilantro. I got incredibly dry pulled pork with cilantro.
When I asked about my sour cream, they said they didn't have any or couldn't find it. It's a new item, so they just didn't know. Just thought they'd serve it without.
They offered me ranch & that made it edible. But I'll be sticking with the Mishawaka location

Food was pretty good quality and taste wise. Jambalaya had nice flavors and a little bit of spice to it. Staff was friendly and courteous. Beignets were very good, nice and light.

The espresso drink itself was okay, but it was made far too hot and needed 15 minutes to cool to a drinkable temperature. The biggest issue was the service. My partner and I walked in and there was a guy at the register looking down, seemingly very angry. I said hi to him which he ignored without looking up. We were never prompted to order, so after an awkward silence we just said what we wanted. I thought he was putting us on for a second with how blatantly unfriendly he was. I noticed he greeted a group of girls behind us, though. Very off putting experience.

Honestly this place needs to step it up to match their hype. I'm pretty sure the lady at the register that took our order was new or something because she acted very uniformed about everything. They pretty much was out of most things we asked about. Our table had I can't even tell you how many layers of filth on it. We had to place napkins over the whole table. Floors are dirty, the bathroom tho are by far are worse than any forgot about truck stop.
Food wasn't horrible but was good enough to finish, Especially for the inflated price of it. I thought when we walked out, for what I just paid for all of this why did I have to bus my own table?! Mishawaka is WAY better!

The food was great. The atmosphere not so much in my current situation I'm homeless at the moment the reason being by health problems from me and my husband and the gm or owner not sure a Caucasian gentleman in his late 30's Early 40's is not fonde at all about the homeless sitting in his restaurant and not being loud or causing a scene and I make sure I buy something every time we go there and if I don't have money to buy something I don't go there.

I went in for lunch and had their Jambalaya with cornbread. Jambalaya was very flavorful with the right amount of spice and the cornbread was a little sweet but delicious.

First time at Chicory Cafe. Fun atmosphere! Lots of choices. Delicious food! Comfy seating along with tables and chairs.
No “Pick Two” on the weekends.
Place was packed. Long line went fast. Super friendly staff. All open tables were filthy. Had to ask to be cleaned off. Very helpful.
Would definitely recommend!! 💕

This place was wonderful! The staff was great and was super attentive about my daughters allergies. Would definitely recommend and head back for breakfast, lunch or dinner and drinks!
