Riverside Cafe

The food and service here are great, and if you go home hungry it's your own fault. I recommend the fried chicken, but a friend had the club sandwich that looked great. Lots of sides included with entrees. This kind of restaurant is hard to find these days, and that's a shame because you will leave happy and full.

Food was delicious and you get alot for your money!!! Our waitress was super sweet and the restaurant was very clean! Definitely will be back!

My wife, son, and I tried Riverside Cafe for the first time. It had an old fashion feel to the interior. The target crowd appeared to be the older set.
The wait staff was very friendly. I asked our server what they were known for. She was helpful and gave me 5 suggestions.
I ordered the Beef Philly. It came with soup and 1 side. I chose White Chili and Mac & Cheese. Some of the beef in the sandwich was a little on the dry side but the melted swiss helped. It also had mushrooms and diced peppers. The hoagie bun was nice and soft. The Mac & Cheese was homemade and absolutely delicious. I could have made that my entire lunch. The White Chili had large chunks of chicken and a balanced taste that was very enjoyable. My wife and son ordered the White Chili as well.
My wife ordered the Breaded Tenderloin. It was the size of a saucer and 1/2 an inch thick. She was pleased with the flavor and the crispness. She ordered the fries for her side. They were fresh and good but she would probably order something else next time.
My son ordered the Pot Roast Sandwich. It was served on a soft hoagie bun with large chunks of beef and a good amount of brown gravy. The smell and taste reminded you of Sunday dinner. He ordered onion rings as his side. He was served a large order that were crisp and delicious.
All three of our meals were priced at $6.99 ( my son received a 10% discount as a BSU student) which is an incredible price point considering the amount of food we were served.
We would definitely eat here again. 👍👍

This was our first time here, was not impressed.
Tilapia was not edible, and onion rings were cold,
His breakfast was also cold.
Opted for chicken, it was just OK

This place is a gem, incredibly nice staff, the food is amazing, especially the breakfast! Also reasonably priced, and fast friendly service. The last time I was in was new years day 23 at 2:30 pm and they were packed, my daughter ordered B&G and 🥓 and I ordered the riverside breakfast which is 2 eggs, 2sausage, 2 bacon, and side of 4 triangles of French toast for @ 6 $. We got our food in under 5 mins after being seated for 2-3 mins, and it was all fresh 😀 and 🔥. Please give this restaurant a chance, I'd bet you won't regret it.

Classic diner. Server was great. Made a fantastic milkshake. Southern Charlie was good, but a lot of food, so be warned those with light appetites.

Nice clean dining place. Plenty of food for a great price. Most dinner entrees come with two sides and soup/salad. Nice friendly staff and tasty food. My wife had the bone in grilled pork chop (fried is also an option) with potato salad and macaroni and cheese. I had the Bourbon chicken tenders (grilled) with fries and mac. We will definitely be coming back. (Sorry, I didn't take pictures of the salads).

Good breakfast- everything tasted great! Service was fast and friendly. It was busy when we were there and I see why. I’d def recommend and go back!

Very clean and very affordable prices. My wife got two large broasted chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and salad for only $7.99. I included a picture of how large the portions were and two could make a meal of this. My tenderloin was the real deal and thick cut with a side for just $6.99 and we had a B1G1 free coupon to boot. Definitely will be coming back. Kept very clean and menus were new as well. Solid service too.
Update 02/17/22: While menu prices have increased slightly like anywhere you go, the food portions are still generous and good value for the money. We had 4 large hand breaded chicken strips, two sides and a salad for only $9.99 today. It was plenty for two people. Local coupons are still available as well in Great Deals which brings the cost down even more.
