Would love to try but can't get in as the line is winding down the sidewalk.. would highly recommend keeping store open for regular customers and having a satellite booth nearby for those wanting to purchase cherry thing-a-lings. Losing customers from the wait.
Love to support small business but this needs better planning.

The once a year experience. Very nice people even with the high demand of the Cherry thing a lings. Was there at open and was out in 5 minutes

Schmidt's Bakery and President's Day weekend means Cherry Thing A Lings! Had heard so much about these fritters through the years. But now that we are living only an hour away, my husband and I decided we had to make the trek to see what all the hoopla was about. And now we know! These fritters are definitely one of a kind. Well worth waiting in line for and you will wait in line. But the staff worked hard to move everyone through as quickly as possible and no one seemed to mind the wait. Will definitely be going back next year for more.

If you've never gone on Presidents day weekend for the cherry thing a lings you should. Just plan on waiting in a long line. Dress accordingly lol. It's worth the wait and they only make them once a year.

10/10 recommend. Us here at Brandstetters KangaRoof ordered 3 dozen Cherry Thing A Lings & they are absolutely amazing. Pop em in the microwave for sec. OH MY LANTA.

I can't believe the line was out the door 30 minutes after closing! It was their famous Cherry Thing A Ling opening day. These things are delicious! Had I known I would've bought more. Very pleasantly surprised! Hurry they only sell these through the valentine's weekend.

Love this bakery!! We were here the day after Thanksgiving and loaded up. Family happy. ♥️

Got here at 4am for Cherry Thing-A-Lings and it was well worth it because they are delicious. The staff is very friendly too!

Stood in line for 3 hours for my first cherry thingaling. Delicious! Staff was friendly and it was an experience!

Last year we drove to batesville for the cherry thing-a-lings and were not disappointed, this year we got them locally from our little coffee shop and what a bummer, can't buy by the dozen or even half dozen they are sold 2 in a pack for $5, which doesn't sound too bad until you open the bag and two little clumps fall out about the size of an egg, one bite😐boo!
